[2" / 50 mm] At this price point, and after having owned 5 studio headphones over a few decades, AKG K240 MKII, K553 MKII, Sony MDR-7506, KOSS PRO 4AA & 4AAA, I have found THE Referred Personal Listening Tool.

[30 Ohms] These are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. I'm extremely particular, having spent hours auditioning headphones in person at retails shops, doing research online, and quizzing colleagues. Nothing comes close to the Audix A150. Any other pair of headphones I've owned or previewed eventually create pressure at some point, usually on top of one's head. Right out of the box, the Audix A150 wraps evenly around your head like a firm pillow. The enclosed instructions specifically advise you to NOT bend the upper band outwards in an effort to loosen them. Rather, over time, these headphones will relax to accommodate the shape of your skull.

Regarding the sound, I specifically purchased the Audix A150 for reference, primarily dialogue. The sound stage is full without any particular frequency being pushed. Although I do wish the bass was a wee bit reduced, this is likely because my prior set of cans had a comparatively thin sound stage.

The build quality is superior. Even the hardshell case is well-made. Lastly, these headphones are gorgeous to look at!

[Stereo] ...so these headphones suit me perfectly! I am hearing things in songs I have never heard before. The highs, mids, and lows are all crystal clear. I needed decent headphones that didn't break the bank, and these are right on the money. Couldn't be happier!

[30 Ohms] The construction is what I expect for the $.... The sound is excellent. You get decent construction and good full range sound with more than adequate depth. For this price you aren't going to get military grade anodized aluminum construction. But you will get good full range drivers that are reasonably comfortable unless you have a head like a pumpkin.

[Closed-Back] I bought these to work with my Marantz audio recorder. They are light, durable, and fit nicely over my ears. The sound is clean and most background noise is unnoticable. Sturdy construction make these headphones a great purchase.

[Black] I have been thinking about buying this product at full price. When the new years sale hit and they marked it down for %50 off I couldn't resist and I am glad I didn't. The ONLY thing that worries me about them is that they feel as though they are too lightweight. But in reality they have great sound and they are extremely comfortable even worn for hours.

[30 Ohms] I needed a set of 4 shared headphones for a podcast studio. These are a good option because the provide the responsiveness of more expensive headphones without the price tag and the pleather ear cushions are easy to wipe down between users.

If you are debating between the K92 and the K72s - The added range over the K72s is worth the price difference IMO. The main difference I've noticed is in being able to hear room reverb and slap echo. The K72s won't articulate those finer details. If that doesn't matter to you, then go with the K72s.

[30 Ohms] Cheap, VERY comfortable, and despite *strong* bass, it's not overpowering. I bought these to use while gaming and as a second reference while mixing music. The bass is strong and definitely forward, but not overpowering. It's pleasing to the ear. The mids and high mids seem well balanced, which is where it matter most in my opinion.

Build quality is good. Nothing cheap about them.

I really have to say a second time how comfortable they are. My old studio monitor headphones were unbearable after about forty minutes. These can be worn for hours at a time with no discomfort at all. The faux leather on the ear cups is also holding up nicely after owning these for about two years. No cracking or fraying.

I've owned a handful of headphones over the years for mixing, listening, and gaming and these are my favorites in terms of comfort by a factor of ten.
