In a 12" x 6' roll, the Silhouette Transfer Tape 12" x 6' Rollis a companion product for use with all Silhouette vinyl types. It allows moving cut-out images from the original material backing onto an intended project surface (such as a wall, window, or other smooth surface). The transfer tape is not a material that is cut by a Silhouette cutting machine. The surface color is transparent with a printed grid.

A: As mentioned by Dov, you can indeed use 12" mats with the Silhouette Cameo 4 Plus Desktop Cutting Machine (15") (B&H# SICAM415CM). Indeed, as long as the mat you use matches or exceeds the size of the media you'll be cutting then the pinch rollers will smoothly accept it. The maximum size mat is 14.6 x 15", but you can also cut many materials without a mat as long as they are held taught and securely by the machine for cutting purposes.
