Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you set this up with a ronin rs2 or is it just camera body

A: Yes you can use this with an RS2 as well. You will need to purchase the Easyrig Quick Release Camera Mount (BH #EAERIGEA033Q • MFR #ERIG-EA033-Q) to mount the RS2 on the Easy Rig.

Q: 2. Would this not work well with a lighter set up? Say 12-16lbs. I often use the Minimax, but sometimes have heavier setups.

A: This is designed to work with setups between 24 to 28.5 pounds. It will not work with a lighter setup.

Q: 3. I own an Easyrig 3 Cinema. Can I purchase the Stabil Light and powerpack kit BH #EASBMINIMXST and install it on my Cinema vest?

A: Yes, the Easyrig 3 vest can accommodate the Easyrig Minimax STABIL Light and Powerpack.

Q: 4. I do a lot of shooting outside and am going to be investing in a quality EVF. It looks like this is primarily to support cameras out in front of the body ie with a monitor set up. Is this still relevant/useful for shooting with an EVF?

A: Yes, this vest is perfect for using a shoulder rig, in which you can set up the Electronic ViewFinder (EVF) on your camera, and using the the Easyrig mini to clip onto the top handle on your camera and allow for the weight to be supported and a more stabilized shot.. The key is to make sure that the arm that extends above the head, is adjusted so that the pull down cord is close to the front of your shoulder. The arms that are made to be extended length are good for using a handheld rig infront of your chest and not using an EVF. This Easyrig gives you a lot of flexibilty as to which rigs you may want to use tor stabilization.

Q: 5. Can you adjust the tension on this one like you can on the Vario 5? So you can choose how much weight you want to take?

A: Yes, just twist the knob on the back of the EasyRig

Q: 6. How is the best way to storage the easyrig when you dont use it? Fold? unfold? into the bag?

A: Camera support has to be broken down from vest and then stowed away. Please review the following for your storage needs. Easyrig Storage Bag BH #EAEREA040 • MFR #ERIG-EA-040 https://bhpho.to/3FrUsqi

Q: 7. Is the vest one size fits all?

A: For the most part, yes. I'm a relatively smaller dude... 5'9 155lbs. It fits me nicely, but all of the straps are as tight as they can go. If you are smaller it'd likely be difficult to get a snug fit. It looks very expandable from there though. My 6'2 220lbs. friend used it no problem. So if you are bigger/taller you'd be fine. Not sure what the upper ceiling is for weight/height. All straps are adjustable seem to conform to various body types. Hope this helps!

Q: 8. I have a panasonic cx 350, would this camera work with this rig?

A: Yes, the top handle of the Panasonic CX350 has mounting points that will allow you to attach either the 1/4 20 stud from the Easyrig 400N Standard Cinema 3 quick release. However we suggest looking at the Easyrig MiniMax for your camcorder the weight support is more inline to the weight of the CX350 when using the Easyrig MiniMax. Easyrig Minimax with Quick Release BH #EAMINIMAXQ • MFR #ERIG-MINIMAX-Q

Q: 9. Hi, I would like to know the package weight. Tilta Shock-Absorbing Arm Regards

A: This product will come in a package that weighs 51.0 pounds.

Q: 10. I show that Easyrig 1000N Portable Camera Support. what difference does this product?

A: The difference is that the 400N stabilizer is made to support a maximum load of 22 lbs where the 1000N is made to support a payload of 46-59 lbs.

[15 x 2 x 1"] Good Lord I waited too long to buy this. It's a hefty purchase (for me), but I've been spending too much money renting this same Easyrig since this particular nonsense came out.

The first week I had it I was strapped to an Arri Amira and some cinema zoom lenses that would've otherwise not been possible for me to operate handheld for as long as we were shooting. Had zero issues adjusting back to my much lighter RED DSMC2 and prime lens package.

I went with the Vario 5 because I knew I'd be using this Easyrig with multiple camera packages and weights. The 5 Extended Arm option was great for me because it allows me to reposition for different camera builds, center of gravities, and easily switch between shooting a balanced shoulder mount or from the hip. I chose the Cinema 3 Vest over the Gimbalrig because I like the smaller profile and it fits me better. I'm about 5'8, 160lbs, and I'm a 30-31 waist size.

[M6 male at ends] Hands down one of the best gear purchases I've ever made. I've had this vest for about 3 years now and it has saved my back so many times it's not even funny. I literally don't even know how I was filming without it before. I've used this with so many different setups before (including a fully blown BMPCC6K pro rig) but these days I keep it pretty simple - I have my DJI Ronin RS3 + Sony FX3 + V mount battery rig and it's absolutely a dream. I can literally film with one hand in my pocket and the other one on the gimbal. I don't think I would ever buy a vest from any other brand than Easyrig. These guys are the real deal.

[0.6 lb] Unless you're doing gimbal work, this is the best EasyRig for most setups.

The Vario gives the user the ability to adjust tension for a wide range of camera sizes and weights. The gimbal vest is great for waist support, much preferred over the original vest in my opinion. The 5 arm is the perfect size to get the camera off your shoulder but not be obtrusive in your environment.

Only wish I bought this sooner.

[15 x 2 x 1"] I don't know how I ever left home without it. My new favorite piece of gear.

[15 x 2 x 1"] I shoot on a very minimal sony fx3 rig, and this simple piece of gear has improved the efficiency of my workflow drastically. Aided by the in-camera stabilization, the shots are so steady with minimal effort. If I need to pop in a different filter, I can just let the camera float in front of me as I do so. Great piece of gear for saving my time and my back.

[0.6 lb] After years of renting Easy Rigs, dealing w/ the uneasy feeling knowing that other people probably sweat in them as much as I do and not knowing how good the rental houses clean these things, I finally got around to investing in one of these. Perfect for low mode where it can hold the camera weight chest height or lower, or static shoulder shots to give the shoulder a break. I've used this countless times over the years and finally got one. Should have done it sooner. Now I gotta save up for the Stabil arm
