Powering your Sony HXR-NX5 or HVR-Z7 camera from a Protech ST-7R/RS rig merely requires that you use the DC Power Cable for ST-7R Shoulder Rig Adapter to Select Sony Camcorders. Mount your camera on the shoulder rig adapter, connect the cable from the shoulder rig to your camera, power the shoulder rig, and you are ready to shoot ENG-style with your camera. This 20" long cable features a locking mini 4-pin connector that attaches to the ST-7R/7RS on one end, and a barrel connector on the other that delivers the required 8.4 VDC to your camera.

A: The SmallRig D-Tap to DC Port Power Cable (B&H# SM1819) is compatible with the Amaran COB 60x S Bi-Color LED Monolight (B&H# AMAPA0020A20) and an appropriate 14.4V D-Tap power source such as the female D-Tap port on very many V-Mount batteries and battery plates.

Q: 7. Will this work with a Feelworld FW279 monitor?

A: Not that we are aware of. This cable does not list the FW279 monitor from Feelworld as compatible. That monitor can be powered by Sony L style batteries, you could look at using the GyroVu D-Tap to Sony L-Series Intelligent Dummy Battery (30") instead, B&H # GYGVDTAPSL. A: We are not aware of this cable being able to power the FS5 Mark II with the Ronin 2. The Ronin 2 does however have a D-Tap port, so instead you could look at using the IndiPRO Tools D-Tap to DC Regulated Power Cable for Sony FS5, FS7, and FS7 II, B&H # INPFS716. [20" / 50.8 cm] We have some Panasonic cameras with 4 pin power and these work perfect. They're not too loud either so as long as you're not needing these in a studio for recording they'll work great. 5

Very solid piece with several features that I've come to love, not the least of which are the locking rosetta style handles, adjustable and removable upper camera mount with a plate that slides into a Manfrotto tripod, cable clips, and more. Very flexible piece. Love it. 5

[8.4 VDC] Ordered this for my C500 MK II. Very compact, light weight and robust. Highly recommended. Doesn't come with a cable, so get a quality 4 pin XLR cable to go with it. 5

[8.3 x 5.5 x 2"] I bought this to be able to power my Canon 5D Mark III from the Ronin-S 12v 2a out port, to get a longer shoot time with the camera. It connects to a dummy battery or anything compatible with a female 5.5/2.5 barrel connector. The one I found is the Tether Tools Relay Camera Coupler for Canon Cameras with LP-E6 Battery. I already used it on a 2-hour shoot and the battery on the Ronin-S only used about a quarter of the power. It was a pretty active shoot with on and off recording throughout the shoot. I also did a test of the camera recording for about 2 hours total while moving the gimbal (as much as I could while still trying to get work done) and it still had 1 full bar and one bar started blinking. So, I would be pretty confident doing at least a 3-4 hour shoot or more with this setup on a single charge depending on how much time the camera is actually recording. I'm not sure I would last much longer than 4 hours of shooting with a gimbal anyway. I'll try to update the post once it gets put through a longer test. This was definitely a great addition to the incredible DJI Ronin-S. 5

[0.25 lb] This rig is a breeze to set up and is really well built. The stabilization it adds to my FX6 with cine lens, mics, and monitor is no joke. The only thing missing straight out of the box is an interface to mount on tripod but it can be easily resolved. 5

[0.25 lb] This item was very expensive for what it is and some mfgs would have included it with the battery, but what can you do? Does the job. The battery system is awesome, with multiple power outlets for my Tilta Focus Handle, all I need, follow focus, camera and EVF. This lead powers my Sigma fp. 5

[8.3 x 5.5 x 2"] Product is build strong, used it for a sony pmw300, and also just put a new one on my sony ex3, makes it a lot more comfortable. I film for a hunting show doing 3-8 miles a day hiking the mountains, this product is build good. 5
