Q: 5. How long does it take to fully charge a battery?

A: TG-4 manual says 5hrs, presumably if fully discharged, when charging in camera (USB cord plugged into camera). If I recall correctly using an external charger (Watson charger) is somewhat faster maybe ca. 3hrs. I will note that all lithium ion batteries share the same characteristic - they hold a charge very well but when they run out of charge it is right now so I always carry a spare fully charged battery.

[3.85 V] If your on the fence weather or not to get extra batteries...just get them. It’s a slightly steep in price but you are buying a $2300 light...don’t cheap out now. I have the two light kit and got two extra batteries. May not need all of them on one shoot, but the night before a shoot I forget to charge one that’s when it will save my butt. 5

[0.295 lb] Just purchased a Insta360 oneX2 camera and to be on the safe side I bought an extra battery for it. Glad I did as my wife and I just came back from a Caribbean cruise and it came in very handy. This battery can last for about 80 minutes and the separate charger is super handy as well. I see many comments by vloggers that don't think they need an extra battery, but if you are traveling (especially on a cruise ship), I recommend you get one along with the charger block which can charge up to 3 batteries at a time. Battery was delivered on time. 5
