The light level is variable and you can set it as you need it concerning the distance from your subject but they aren't high power spotlights. They're great for mid shots but for wide angle shots at night you'll need more than just two of these.I do love these lights though and they're an essential part of my travel rig.

A: The B&H users of the Bescor FP-312 really like it. It holds up well. The Genaray is a good unit as well. We have no report of any green tint issue.

A: These lights only work when plugged into a power source. They do not have batteries.

A: The light stands are decent and work well. However just know that the stems have a groove in them so that their fixed and can't move freely 360 degrees. You can adjust the height but not turn them.

A: you don't need to , in the specs the item operates from 100 - 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz

A: They do a decent job IMHO; no green hue. But the light output is on the weaker side.

A: Yes, the units are actually a 12 volt system. Any 12 volt Bescor system (SLM5, MM7, FP12VATM) w/ a CLC 200 cord will run the light.-Bescor

A: They can be used to light a chroma green screen. Keep in mind they are not high power lights so they will not adequately light a large screen. I would not consider them for any screen area larger than 5' x 7'.
