Stability, rugged construction, flexibility, and control are hallmarks of the Litepanels Gemini 1x1 Hard RGB LED Light Panel with Pole-Operated Yoke and US Power Cord. Similar in design to the Gemini 2x1, the LED layout has been reconfigured with the Gemini 1x1, allowing it to create 60% of the output of the Gemini 2x1 with a medium-wide beam angle of 46 degrees. The aluminum-constructed, 12.6 x 12.6 x 4.6" RGBWW fixture has multiple lighting modes including CCT, Hue, Saturation, Gel Presets, as well as an effects mode. The CCT color temperature control has six factory presets in increments from 2700 to 10,000K. There are also six presets for user-defined color temperature and plus/minus green control. The HSI Color mode allows you to adjust the hue, saturation, and intensity, while Gel mode permits your choice from a library of filters favored by filmmakers, and an effects mode provides nine different effects to work with. The light has a CRI/TLCI rating of 98, indicating an accurate rendition of color. The Gemini is dimmable from 100 to 0.1% without flicker or color shift, and settings and features are displayed on the rear LCD screen.

All of these adjustments can be made locally on the unit or remotely via a console, thanks to the Gemini's built-in DMX. There's even the option of wireless DMX or Bluetooth control via a separately purchased remote module. The Gemini is ready for worldwide use, thanks to its built-in 100 to 240 VAC power supply but it can also run on batteries when power is unavailable.

The Gemini has a number of convenience features, such as the ability to stack and gang several lights together with an optional yoke and hardware. You can also daisy-chain multiple lights together in Master/Slave mode, allowing a single designated "Master" light to control the others. This version of the Gemini ships with a Pole-Operated yoke and a US power cable.

[Fan] I love this light. I bought two of these after renting them for a whole. They are better, lighter weight, and less expensive than the Arri skypanel making it a much better value. I have Astras as well but am excited about the new 1x1 Gemini which is the 1x1 version of this light. 5

[200 W ] So, I only got my unit recently, and to be honest, I haven't used it on a job yet. I'm a network news photographer (it's video, even though the title is photographer), in the business for over 30 years (and I look it). I have been a fan of Litepanels for a long time. I started with the original 1x1s, which were so great for indoor use, but just didn't have much punch for outside. Then came the Astra 6x bi-color, big improvement, but just enough for a cloudy day outside, and not if the background was in full sun. The Astra bi-focus got me there, kind of. I love the bi-focus, and when you punch it in, two of them can compete with a full sun background, but to be honest, the color shifts a bit all the way in. I needed a light that could really match the sun, and still have good skin tones. I am not a fan of Apurture, for many reasons, especially for the kind of work I do. They are big, heavy, cumbersome, and you can't just power them from regular camera batteries at full power. I had both the 600d, which had good punch, but I traded it for a 600c, because I prefer the light quality of RGB lights. Finally, the Gemini Hard came out! Two of these close enough to the talent could compete with a hard sun background (if you remove the diffuser) and the skin tones it produces are beautiful. Now at this point I already owned 14 Astras, 4 Geminis 1x1, one 600C, and of course, a few smaller lights. I felt my life was complete. But then, the Gemini 2x1 Hard went on sale here at B&H, and I had to try it. Wow! It put everything else to shame! Sure, it's kind of big and heavy, but the output! I already had the dual battery power plates that I use when I travel with the Gemini Hard (as I can't bring my core 293s on a plane, but two 150s will do the job). And two of those 293s will power this new 2x1 for over 45 minutes, at 100% power! I'm going to get a second one. I think by then, my life will really be complete. ;-) ps. at work my nickname is Lenny the light. 5

[200 W ] I travel quite a bit and I have tried out a variety of key lights over the years to not much success. But I've been using the Gemini 1x1 and a DoP 3' Octabank as of late and it's the best travel-friendly keylight combination I've ever used. That combination is so soft on faces and still packs plenty of a punch to balance and expose in heavy natural light scenarios. I've taken this light on dozens of flights and it travels extremely well and works so great for documentary applications. You never know the space you're getting to until you arrive and this covers you in all areas. If you also find yourself in unpredictable locations more often than not, this light will be your best friend. Any piece of gear is an investment not just financially but in yourself. This light has improved my quality of work and that alone was worth it. Probably need to pick up a second one soon! 5

[46°] I literally use this light on every shoot. There is never a scenario that this light cannot be useful! I think it is smaller and lighter than the equivalent Skypanel. The output is awesome, and having the option to battery power them is also a plus. I travel two of these in one pelican case on every flight for a job because of how great they are. One of the best purchases I have made for lighting. It's the swiss army knife of fixtures. 5

[200 W ] I'm a small owner operator, (5 ton truck) these lights are great, they are worth buying just for the set up break down time, much faster and easier to use than the arri s30, only had them a few weeks but so far so good no issues. Great quality of light , and lite weight and plenty of output. good value pretty much an arri s30 without the massive price tag. 5
