A: 2x3 for general portraits as a main light and a 1x3 for accent , edge or rim light .

A: The depth of this softbox is 19.5 .

Q: 3. is this compatible with acute packs and heads?

A: You need the different adapter. If you use the standard one for normal rfi soft boxes it will not work on the ocf boxes. Plus the quality is ehhhh, at best.

A: The interior of the Profoto OCF Softbox Octa (36") is silver.

Q: 5. How long are these rods? TY

A: These Profoto rods are approximately 32" long.

Q: 6. Is this softbox double diffused?

A: Yes it has a removable Interior Diffuser or baffle.

Q: 7. can you use it with B2 heads?

A: Yes. The following unit will adapt to the B2 system.

Q: 8. How deep is the 1' x 3' softbox?

A: 16 in the middle

Q: 9. Will the B10's work with the Profoto OCF Softbox (1x3')?

A: Yes you would need a OCF speed ring Profoto Speed Ring for OCF Flash Heads B&H # PROCFSR MFR # 101210

Q: 10. Does the OCF Softbox work with the D1?

A: While this softbox will fit the D1, it is not recommended since the modeling lamp is a 300 watt tungsten halogen type lamp and the since the softbox is not rated for heat.

This soft box works very well. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. But the big news isn't the soft box - it's the ingenious Profoto speed ring, which makes this 2x3' soft box (and the smaller 1.3' square one, which I also have) easy to set up and break down. And that means I'm happy to take the whole rig on location without any worries. 5

I use this along side my RCF modifiers and it works great! Light and easy to move around as well. Color is consistent with my other Profoto products - Highly recommend! 5

I have used it with a grid. The modeling from the Profoto B10 is great. Easy to adjust the portion of the softbox. 5

This is my second softbox. That being said, obviously this is a good product. I love the soft lighting it gives off. It collapses very easily and takes up no space. 5
