I kinda just love the clamp and the arm. Build quality is fantastic and I have a very heavy mic on it and it does not budge. Moves like butter and whisper quite. I never release what a pain it was to set my mic up , remove it etc. this thing is east swings out of way for clearing desk space and I find myself doing far more with it now 5

From the images I was expecting some sort of plastic design for the main black part but it's made of a really heavy solid metal. The clamp is very wide (thick desks accomedated) and has padding to minimize any damage to the surface. Went with this over the other mounting option as it can be easily taken off and moved around whereas the other is a more permanent solution. 5

These are excellent. I use a number of elbow lamps/magnifying glass and devices. Bought as replacements to the lousy plastic clamps that come with the lamps, etc. 5

This clamp is strong and rock solid. It supports heavy arms well and I love the fact that I can move my microphone arm from room to room or take it on the road with me and attach it to a desk or table using this clamp. I use it with an OC White Deluxe 2 joint microphone arm and a fairly heavy large diaphram microphone and the clamp handles the load perfectly. 5
