It offers focused, soft output with a punchy, crisp edge that lends dimension and detail to your subject as well as natural-looking catchlights in their eyes. The unique depth of the modifier renders significant falloff at the field edge and therefore an enhanced degree of directional control, decreased spill light, and easy feathering. The Parabolic Softbox comes with removable outer and inner diffusers that can be used together, one at a time, or not at all to achieve different levels of contrast. A carry bag is included for storage and transport.

[Yes] This makes a great supplement to the 48 hexagon softbox when you want a bit more control over spill. I was surprised at how easily the Godox version goes together (easier than the Aputure alternative, which we have in another studio), and the included diffusion material and grid are easy to manage. The diffusion works as it should, and the grid is excellent for preventing spill onto backdrops. The box doesn't feel quite rugged enough for a lot of location shoots, but for fixed studio settings, this is an inexpensive option for good lighting control. 5

[Silver] Haven't been able to get this together yet, it is just to hard to get the poles in the ring. I am just not strong enough as a woman to do it. Maybe some of you male photographers can do it but I couldn't get those suckers to go in there. I am going to get a friend to come over and we are going to try together this weekend to get it together. 5
