A wide-surround tweeter enhances its low and high-frequency extension, allowing for improved blending with the midrange. An entirely new midrange driver with a large-diameter voice coil, vented rear spider, and new neodymium magnet allows for better excursion and control of midrange frequencies. A new cast chassis was designed to minimize reflections back to the cone, resulting in better clarity.

Drastically improving low-end reproduction, this newly developed bass driver features a single-piece, compound curvature, aluminum cone with a large rear vented magnet delivering improved linearity and better low-frequency response of any previous Uni-Fi center speaker.

Reducing the speaker cabinets' influence on audio quality, the Uni-Fi Reference line implements full-perimeter bracing, significantly reducing cabinet vibration and cabinet coloration. The cabinet is made from CARB2-rated MDF.

The newly developed slot vents utilize both internal and external flares, allowing for lower noise and high bass output for improved low frequency dynamics.

Q: 1. Could you be so kind to let me know as soon as you have this product in black? Thank youKlipsch RF-7 III Floorstanding Speaker Black

A: Please keep checking our website for updates to this product.

Q: 2. What is the country of manufacture?

A: It is made in China.

Q: 3. I ordered ELAC DEBUT B6.2. I have Sony STR-DH190, is there any pronblem with this matching?

A: No problem at all. These ELAC speakers are well matched to the Sony STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver.

Q: 4. Is white color?

A: We currently only carry a 'Black' option of the Yamaha NS-C210.

Q: 5. Is 50 watts per channel enough to drive these speakers for a small to medium size room?

A: The Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-8000F II 2.5-Way Floorstanding Speaker (Ebony, Pair), BH # KLRP8000FIIK (B&H Kit), can be driven to decent volume levels without distortion with a clean 50 watts per channel amplifier or receiver in small to medium sized spaces.

Q: 6. Is a Onkyo TX-8020 Stereo Receiver good for this set?

A: Yes. These ELAC speakers will perform very well with your receiver: Onkyo TX-8020: 50 watts x 2 (stereo) into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.08% THD

Q: 7. Will these speakers work well as rear channel speakers with a system powered by a Yamaha RX-V485 receiver?

A: Yes they will very well as rear surround speakers.

Q: 8. Does a Dayton Audio SUB-1000 subwoofer pair with these or not needed for listening to music?

A: I do not see why not. The subwoofer choice is more defined by the size of the room and the the type of music listened to.

Q: 9. Is Yamaha R-N303D Network Stereo Receiver capable of bringing out the best from this pair of speakers?

A: These are very sensitive 6 ohm speakers. The Yamaha R-N303D, while an excellent receiver, is not designed for 6 ohms, and is less than ideal. It can power the speakers, but could conceivably be damaged at high volume.

Q: 10. Do these ideally need max 120 watt input PER speaker or 120 total?

A: The maximum recommended wattage is 120w per channel.

[2x Front-Firing] I was replacing a pair of 23 yr old paradigm BS speakers. They had to be fairly small to fit in our shelves.

The ELACs were perfect, and the sound was even better than I expected. The base is good....as is the mid and high ranges. These speakers play bigger than they are. And there was no problem driving them with my NAD C 700. They appear to be well built.

I highly recommend these speakers !!!

[6 Ohms] We have a 7 channel speaker set up with rf 82II fronts and 2 subwoofers. We use the system primarily for movies on television. The system is powered by a relatively modest Yamaha RX V671. My wife is hard of hearing so we wanted to see if upgrading from a center rc52 would help understanding of dialog. It definitely helps. It is also excellent with music and when the speakers are balance it has a strong, clear presence without overwhelming the other speakers. In addition, my amplifier has no problem driving all the speakers. It is not cheap, but it is well worth it for me.

[3-Way] I recently purchased this center channel With the upgraded Tweeter To replace my already excellent RC 64. The RC 64 III Is an improvement in every way over the RC 64. In home theater The center shell is the most important speaker in your set up the dialogue is excellent and very clear and precise. I would highly recommend this center to anyone serious about home theater.

[3-Way] Initially I didn't like it too much.
It had too warm sound for me.

But after I adjusted EQ for it and spent few weeks with it, now I love it.

I made following EQ adjustments:
63Hz, 125Hz and 250Hz - minus 3dB.
And 1kHz - plus 2dB.

And crossovers:
90Hz

I compared it with Paradigm Premier 500C and B&W HTM6 S3.

And I like this ELAC much more.

Paradigm has no energy and dynamics in sound.
And B&W is to sharp for me. Warmer is better than sharper for movies as for me.

Also my wife likes ELAC design. It matches with our new shelf color.

And I took it with 200 USD off on some good sale on B&H.

For 260 USD it is super hard to beat by price/quality.

So, I decided to keep it for my sound system. Movies became much more enjoyable with this center speaker.

I highly recommend it.

[3-Way] The sound, build and finish of these is positively incredible. Listening to my music library, with them powered by the marantz model 30 is like hearing it for the first time all over again.

They have a pleasant roll off on highs, so everything is crisp, but nothing feels piercing. Mids are splendid. The low end leaves a little to be desired for sub bass, but that’s expected from this type of speaker. The lows this does cover are powerful and robust.

The one quirky thing about them, is the feet are not attached. They are little spikes and platters that you rest them on. This means it is *always* a two person job to move the speakers. Not an issue, if you don’t move them often, but I could see that being a problem for some people.

Overall though, I simply cannot recommend these enough. They are fantastic.

[3-Way] Couldn't decide if I wanted these or higher cost B & W's but these were well worth it and priced well for the audio quality they provide.

[2x Front-Firing] I've had this for two months now. Incredible!! I wanted to make sure that I could hear the voices during movies, so I was willing to drop the buck's. I have not been disappointed! These are awesome.
