This VELVET MINI 2 IP54 Bi-Color LED Panel Yokefeatures an integrated AC power supply and includes a yoke with a 1-1/8" / 5/8" receiver combo. It additionally has a 3-pin XLR DC input, 5-pin XLR DMX input/output, a mini-USB port, and an Ethernet port.

The fixture has a generous variable color range of 2700 to 6500K with a TLCI rating of 96, an indicator of superior color reproduction. The MINI 2 is dimmable too, from 0 to 100%, and while you can make adjustments locally on the panel, you can also make them using a DMX console. The light is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 90 to 264V power supply. It will run on a battery when AC power is unavailable.

[Aluminum] We use these with our new FX9 and found them to be the most color accurate panels out there. We’ve tried the bi colors as well as the RGBW versions and they are terrific. The app is solid and we started using them right away. 5

[100°] I own or have owned every light known to man. (ok, slight exaggeration). I currently have the Gemini Soft, Gemini Hard. and Kino Freestyle LEDs of a variety of sizes. Never mind Apurtures and Nanlites plus a few of them lightweight flexible led panels. But when I need a fast and simple setup, I always got back to these Astra Softs. And when I look at the image, I wonder why I went and bought all those other expensive fixtures. Just today I shot a multicamera interview for ABC's new show Impact with the U.S Attorney investigating the Matthew Perry case and because going thru security was so complicated and time was of essence, I chose to bring these lights instead. I loved the picture to much I wondered to myself why I keep buying these way more expensive fancy lights. And the beauty of these is that I can fly them with a micro 150 battery and because I rarely have to turn them up all the way, they will last the length of some of these long interviews no problem. I did notice on this thread some folks complaining about these lights failing them, and have heard similar complaints from other Astras too. I have never had any issues with these or my other Astras, but that's likely because I read the instructions that clearly state you should dim the lights all the way down before you turn them on, wait until the flashing green light stops flashing, and then dim up at your heart's desire. And always before I turn them off, I dim them down all the way, as not to forget. That might be the secret. I see people using them wrong all over the place. 5

[100°] I think what I loved most about these lights is their practicality. The bi-color light they put off is decently bright for smaller projects in smaller locations. The batteries provided in this setup are great so far. I've used them for a long 6 hour shoot with almost constant power and they lasted. Would recommend for anyone needed an affordable and decent softbox light option. 5
