[2500 to 10,000K] great light for film(video)

[13 to 50°] I have had a tungsten model and daylight model of this light. I really like how simple it is. For lighting up a scrim or accenting a wall it works great. The daylight is about 1/3 of a stop brighter than the tungsten balanced light. I like that its dead quiet and simple to use. The added V mount bracket included is super handy as well.

[2500 to 10,000K] At Univ. of Florida, in the production program, we work with the 2x650w, 2x300w kit and I have fallen in love with ARRI lights. The 650w is definitely my go-to light. The build is SOLID. You can use it to light the subject or the background (with a cucoloris ex.). It wont punch through gels and diffusions like the T1, but if you need to do that then get a T1. This is a must for filmmakers whether you rent it or buy it; you can never go wrong with a 650w fresnel on set. You'll need it for something sooner or later!

[LCD] I use this light for still photographs, video and even some 8mm and 16mm film production. It has the famous German made Arriflex quality. It's very sturdy and heavy. The focusing fresnel lens turns smoothly and you can focus from pinpoint to flood light. The Arri lenses have that rich warm old school Hollywood glow. THe power cord is included and long enough for most sets and studios. This light gets HOT! Not just warm but VERY HOT! Bring a pair of gloves to adjust the barn doors on front and be careful where you touch the housing. It's not well known but you CAN put a lower watt lamp in here, like a 350 watt to cut down on heat, power consumption and light intensity. The warm light output can be an advantage if working with nudes as it's about as warm as an average space heater! Be sure to get a very good and sturdy set of legs or light stand for this. It's heavy and a cheap stand will topple over and destroy your light or worse, land on a model. There are cheaper fresnel lights out there but build quality is lacking and you will be frustrated in the long run. Old school tungsten lights have a look that cannot be duplicated by LED lights or strobes. Make certain that's the look you want before buying this.

[Passive] My video team loves to use the light as ambiance to the background, adding a nice magical element to our wedding films. Since we use it for very simple and indirect purposes, its hard to find anything to complain about it. It does the job perfectly, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in using it for the same purpose.

[2500 to 10,000K] I use this product for shooting weddings. Very compact design. Powerful, smooth focusing, bright and even beam. Lightweight and strong construction.

[1x LED Fresnel] My employer is a small sports media production house, he had a box of these things suffering from various issues (they must have been at the very least 10 years old) and I was charged with repairing all of them. The construction on the inside takes Keep it Simple Stupid to a whole new level. For someone who knows nothing about electricity I was able to repair all of them and they work like new despite their age.

[400 W ] This Light is the perfect Light to be used for small setups, Music videos, etc... Very Very Durable.

[1x LED Fresnel] This is my everyday light kit when I'm on the move. Great Arri build quality, beautiful even light. At this price point, this is spot on bang for buck. The kit is heavy but the heavy duty box with caster wheels makes rolling it around very easy. The accessories included are a bonus (gloves, spare bulb protector box ect.) Couldn't be happier!
