This 16 oz Cotton 57" x 50 Yards 16 oz Cotton Duvetyne Roll - Blackfrom Liba Fabrics measures 57 inches wide by 50 yards long and is used extensively in the film and theater industries for blocking light or to simulate outer space. It can also be used for creating a light-to-dark ratio on flat, overcast days in photography and video. The fabric meets NFPA 701 fire-retardant standards, has a brushed-matte finish, and is easy to cut or tear.

A: I generally prefer photo flo as a clean up rinse for images that are old, faded, dirty or curled as well as a final rinse due to its great capacity for leaving a print literally liquid-spot clean.

Q: 3. Can this be used on BW, C41, & E6 films?

A: This product is designed for use when processing Black and White Film only.

Q: 4. I am using this as an additive to a phonograph cleaning machine. This can not leave any residue behind. The recording will also be vacuum dried. Does anyone have experience here?

A: This is a concentrate. The dilution ration for it is 1 part Photo-Flo to 200 parts water.

A: I've used 20+ year old photo flo without issue. I don't know if there is an expiration date however.

Q: 9. I don’ understand what yards means, what is the lenght, what is the width ? Thanks

A: 56/57" Wide and 15' Long or {4.572M Long}

Q: 10. Dumb question? I assume I still need to give my film a final squeegee after using Phot-Flo?

A: After you use Kodak Photo-Flo 200 Solution (16 oz), you do squeegee the film.

[58 x 8.5 x 8.5"] I bought a roll of the 9oz and a roll of the 16oz as I didn't know how either would perform. I am using the 9oz to hide and cover a few items on a prodution shoot. It worked for me and tears straight. Was easy to pick up in NYC. 5

[58 x 8.5 x 8.5"] Although not as dense as more expensive Duvetyne, this product works fine for negative fill and most light blocking applications. It is also somewhat lighter than the heavy, theatrical grade Duvetyne. I don't know if this is fire retardant, but now that we use LEDs instead of hot lights, that is less of a priority. My only wish is that it would be nice if a wider width were available, but otherwise I'm quite pleased with this fabric. 5
