This item was specifically designed as described: The Gold mount Tilta Battery Plate for the C500 Mark II and C300 Mark III cameras attaches to the back of the camera using an included U-shaped top plate and a compact battery plate receiver bracket. The top plate screws onto the top of the camera and the receiver bracket onto the rear, and the battery plate secures to both of them.
