The Barndoors from VELVETlight for the MINI 2 and MINI 2 Studio feature a removable design and four-way adjustment. The light's beam spread can be controlled by swinging one or more barndoor leaves into the fixture's beam, allowing light to illuminate or be kept from user-selected parts of your subject.

A: You could use any of the sections as the bottom.

A terrific and essential addition to any Mac Mini. Combined with super fast 2GB ssd memory, this thing rocks. I love the cradle on top for the Mac Mini to sit and be cozy while bringing all the good stuff to the front for easy access. 5

Clever design makes it easier to store, my previous setup hated bein moved and took up a lot of room. It is somewhat limited as to size, especially for longer objects, but I knew that going in and I can adapt. It has already paid for itself with better looking product photos. 5

It's a wonderful invention. It's easy to put together and easy to take apart to store. It works perfectly for what I bought it for...take pictures of my 18 doll who models the clothes I make to sell. The handle makes it very convenient to carry from one place to another. I highly recommend it. I think the price is even just right! 5

So where has this big folding corrugated plastic box been all my shooting life? I havent taken this out to a shoot in the field yet (I shoot food and retail products for operational training and catalog materials, as well as vegetables for my garden-writer partner) but so far it appears able to replace a large folding box-tent setup which requires large, bright lights shooting through the translucent sides and an open-sided shooting table which requires surrounding direct lighting on stands. This takes up a fraction of the space in front of the camera and has much more even, dimmable lighting BUILT IN! I bought a large 6 wide portfolio bag for transport and a white melamine caterers platform to place inside the Foldio, and Im all set! Ill now be carrying a third of the bags and a fifth of the weight to locations, which will make everything more time- and space-efficient. I do need to keep this thing away from areas where my dog has been, since it conducts static electricity like crazy, and therefore ... dog hair. So theres that. 5
