• When one unit is connected to Bluetooth and the Mono/Stereo switch is in the Stereo position, the main XLR output will send the left audio channel, and the second XLR output will send the right audio channel.

The lower the impedance of the speaker the greater the wattage output of the receiver could be. As with any receiver, volume should never be run so high that you experience distortion in the speakers; this would indicate the amplifier is too powerful for your speakers. If you are experiencing clean sound, but the amplifier is overheating and shutting itself off, you are running the receiver too "hot" (volume too high to accommodate for sudden spikes like a cymbal crash or thunder) and would need a receiver with more watts per channel.

A: While you could use this as just an amp for an atmos setup, you can probably find a dedicated amp for less that might suit your needs. I don't believe the unit has an auto on function, so you would probably need to leave it on 24/7 or have a universal remote with a macro to turn it on when you turn on your reciever, or use the included remote but who wants to add more remotes to the mix. You also waste all the features like Bluetooth and multiple inputs if used like that, I mean you could use them but you just as likely have all those features on your atmos receiver. About the only advantage of this amp is it powers 2 zones simultaneously, so if it was powering your fronts, you could wire up a second room as well for when playing music.
