A: The Gorilla v2 plate has two 1/4 -20 threaded mounting holes on the bottom to allow attachments. There is a tripod dock available specifically made for this plate that would allow you to effectively use this plate as quick-release for your plate. It would mount right under the v2 plate and has 3/8 and 1/4-20 mounts on the bottom. [Lifetime ] I love the camera for the few times I have used it so far.. Got a good case, but am afraid of the leaf lens protector as well as anything that can happen to electronics. Since it is a contract with Canon directly I am comfortable with the purchase . 5

[Lifetime ] If purchasing the Ronin 4d 6K. I highly recommend you pick this up. For most people purchasing this camera. I'm gonna assume you're doing run And the gun work and with that comes the risk of well, something going wrong, eventually, if that's the case, this completely takes any fear of something going wrong and throws it out the window My experience with the team at DJ. I is that they are fast. They are highly Communicate. And that they resolve issues quickly. For these reasons alone I feel that if you're gonna buy this camera which is already around after-tax somewhere in the $7000 range. Adding an extra nine hundred dollars to protect said seven thousand dollars is kind of a no brainer 5

[North America] You want the best care with your fine photography equipment. Canon is the subject matter experts on their own equipment. They will have you send they item at no charge to you also. Its a no brainier and you need back up with all and any tech equipment 5

[Additional] I have yet to have an issue with my gear but I know that whenever I do, Canon will be there for me. As a Canon Professional, I rely on having gear that is always up and going. Should I have to send my gear in, they will fix it immediately and even send me a loaner. Anyone that is a professional, or even not... this is a must. Never leave home without insurance. This plan.. about $50, ... the replacement, over $400!!! Don't leave home without it. I highly recommend this add on. 5
