A laminated wood handle gives the COAST FX412 Frame Lock Folding Knife with Lanyard Holea classic look, while thumb studs for one-handed opening and a frame lock for safety give it utility and usability. The knife's pocket clip can be positioned on either side for left-handed or right-handed tip-up carry. The drop point, partially serrated blade is made of 7CR17 stainless steel and measures 4". It measures 8.8" open, 4.9" closed and weighs 6.1 ounces. This version of the knife comes in clamshell packaging.

Q: 6. Does this come with a stand?

A: It doesn't. The attachment is a rod of 5/8 diamter, about 3 3/4 free length. If you wish to fit the unit onto a standard tripod with a male adapter, you'll need an adapter with both ends female. It may be better to interpose a pivoting adapter. That way, you can match the angle of the frame to the angle of your light source. There may be different solutions that will work utilising the equipment that you already have. I hope that helps.

Q: 8. Matthews Diffusion Frame - 18x24 - Knife Blade How do I mount this? What kind of fitting(s) do I need?

A: you would need a stand with a Grip Head.. I have a Hollywood Grip Head 2-1/2... i mount the Grip Head to my normal light stand, and then mount the Diffusion Frame to the Grip Head.. It's enough for me.. and for even more flexibility, a c-stand with a grip arm and grip head would be great.

Q: 9. The MultiCart Flex Straps are listed as recommended accessories for this cart. I can see how you could attach the hooks to the handle of the cart but how do you attach the opposite end hooks of these straps to the bottom platform of the cart since the whole platform or bed of the cart looks totally solid with no place to put the hooks around at the bottom of the cart. How are the hooks attached ?

A: If using the Multicart Flex Straps, the ends can fit over the edge of the platform on the Wesco cart since they are rounded off.

Q: 10. Is it possible to adapt this for use with a Ronin M?

A: Although this is specifically designed for the Movi, it should also be able to grip onto the bar of a Ronin M, but we have not physically tested this pairing.

[Stainless Steel] Great knife! Well made, very sturdy, no fear of closing on hand or blade breaking off during use. I am left handed. The knife comes with 3 positions for the pocket clip. I need the clip on the same side as the lock button, and at the hinge end of the knife. This would be a fourth position for the clip. I like the double sided blade opening knob. Overall, a very well made knife! 5

[Frame Lock] I wanted a good quality spring-assist blade without the $150-$300 pricepoint...I ran across THIS little gem and was SURE there had to be a pricing error. Now if I lose or break this knife I won't be launching a full-blown tirade as some of my colleagues have been known for ! I actually LOVE IT . 5

[Folding] I've had this knife for over two years and it is best assisted opening knife I have owned and I have owned quit a few. I bought it due to having a safety lock, which keeps the blade locked in either open or closed positions, which is a great feature. I have had other assisted openers accidently open in my pocket and opened when dropped and these were not cheap knives. Got cut several times and ruined two pairs of pants. Secondly, I love the liner lock. It is very strong and locks into place perfectly. What I really like is the upper edge of the liner lock sits higher than the handle edge and has nice scalloping, which makes the liner lock release very easy. Kudos to these designs! I have other liner lock knives which are a pain to get the lock to release! Not this knife! Finally!!! A company that knows how to make a great all-around folding lock back knife! 5

[Frame Lock] I have been carrying this knife for 6 months now and it is a great knife. It is sturdy and feels good in the hand, unlike some other knives. The extra blade lock is really nice and holds the blade strong. The open assist takes a bit to get used to, but once I did I actually like it better than some other brands. The only complaint I have is that the bottom of the pocket clip sticks out just a little bit and I accidently scratched my car when getting in. 5

[Frame Lock] This knife is very well built. The ergonomic feel in my hand is great. The drop point blade was razor sharp! Lockup is crisp and very solid. The assisted deployment is fantastic, faster than any of my other assisted opening knives. Although this knife has a locking feature, which I thought I would need to use while in my pocket to assure no accidental deployment, I am very comfortable in not needing to use this. The amount of force to start a deployment is just right in my opinion. I am comfortable it will not accidentally deploy in my pocket. At first I thought the size of the handle was going to be a little large in my pocket, but the feel in my hand is great and it didn’t take me long at all to get used to it in my pocket. Great job on this model Coast! 5
