A: You can snap 2 or 3 shots on light rain. I will not recommend using this camera constantly under heavy rain. If water reaches the electrical system of the camera it could permanently harm the camera. The manufacture pack this camera in a fitted disposable plastic bag. I will recommend maintaining the camera inside the bag and cutting the portion in front of the lens, the flash, and the viewfinder. It will serve as a disposable rain cover.

[1] I got this camera to go camping with a group of friends. There wasn't any cell service at the camp site, so I figured I'd try a camera- one use cameras seemed wasteful, and I wasn't looking for anything too expensive so this was the perfect fit for my needs. So easy to use and took the cutest pics of my friends and I on our trip- can't wait to use it again!! 5
