A: No there is no adjustment, I have numerous ones and have never had a problem with it becoming too lose. The clamp must be completely open to place a camera or lense in it. With the clamp half open you can only slide the lense forward or backward for balance.You want to make sure you have the stopping screws in on the lense plate or the lense/camera could fall out of the clamp when it is half open. Also, when stopping screws are in the lense plate they are the reason the clamp must be completely open so that the lense plate can be dropped in. They are the reason you can not slide the lense plate into the clamp with it only half open.

Q: 6. Does the tightening knob head extend below the base level of the clamp? I'd like to attach it to the top of leveling head DYH-66i. It would have to be screwed in by rotating this clamp. Bubble level of 66i does not allow attachment of clamps by rotating them into the center screw if their tightening knob extend below the bottom level of clamp.

A: It should is my guess. BUT. finger access under the mounting plate and ball handle might be an issue. Take it to a big camera store to check if it works. The huge issue with your ball head is- given the weight of the camera, is it good enough to clamp the load firmly?

Q: 10. Can this clamp be installed on FLM CB-58FRT ball head?

A: While it is possible to use this clamp on the FLM CB-58FRT, it has not been tested to our knowledge. Your results may vary.
