[DMX] This diffuser is super compact. Pops out for use, compresses with light fitting nicely inside and provides a great cushion for storage and transit. 

The quality of light that comes out of it is drastically diffused, but is still very directional without spill. Almost like a diffused gridspot. 

The diffuser is really nothing more than a translucent slightly frosted plexiglass. The black collar is one piece silicone. 

It fits firmly and snugly to the light, the recessed groove on the light match up and secure with the protruding trim inside the back.

Perfectly made, high quality in both manufacturing, and as a light modulator.

The fact that it protects this pricey little light is worth the cost, the fact that it makes the light even better, seals the deal.

[0 to 30 Hz] It’s exactly what I was hoping for and more. I won’t use the other colors much but I will use it to see the connections inside my PA rack. It’s quite bright on the highest setting. I have it mounted facing down for this purpose. I can swivel it any direction along it’s axis to reveal dark spots also. I’m glad I got it.

[DMX] The Auray RM-MCLED Multicolor LED Rack Light is a basic yet capable light that can suit a ton of different applications.


The way I have been using this light is as an accent light to add some pop to some shots and then in a deep dark cabinet that doesn't have a lot of light in it.


It's pretty easy to operate, with two buttons. One button if you hold down it'll power on and dim the light, the other controls the color or you can cycle it.


It's easy to mount and the mount itself swivels a bit so you have options on how you want to mount it. I think this is going to end up in my gear closet to help out when I'm packing up. It's also super lightweight so it doesn't need much to mount it.

[5x Auto-Program] First use was in an auditorium that was larger than it should have handled. Everyone was so impressed by the clean and bright white light. It impressed me enough that I will purchase another on so I can have proper spotlight operations.

[LCD / 5-Button] I was surprised when I got these to discover there is a gasket of sorts on the fixture side that greatly helps reduce light leaks, especially if used in the closest gel frame slot. They feel well constructed and I am looking forward to many years of use with these.

[LCD / 5-Button] Good light with many options. Dont need smartphone to adjust. The diffuser attaches well, but isn’t very secure and can fall off if you bump it.

[DMX] I needed a bright LED for front of house lights with a throw of 50-75 feet. This did the trick. It can be adjusted for a soft or hard focus and zoomed in for a spotlight. It acts like one of those great old incandescents that I miss so much since going down the LED highway. The one problem I have with the light is that it is pretty long and I wanted to hang it on a light tree in the audience and I am a bit uncomfortable with that. But this is not a problem with the instrument or B&H Photo who sold me the light. It was just something I didn't put into the mix. But I would buy this product again and I do anticipate many happy years of use.

[LCD / 5-Button] This light works perfectly. Being able to mount the light right into the rack makes it very convenient to use. The light is bright enough for our dark master control, and having a dimmer function lets me set the intensity exactly where I want it. I love having the ability to choose a color for the light as well. It looks great in the rack and is very functional. If I need a bright white light, I can choose it, but if we want a color for visual effect or any other reason, I can do that too. It comes with 12 preset colors, but I personally I prefer using it as a blue light, because it looks really good in our rack, but having the flexibility of choosing the light color is nice to have. You can also set the light to bi-color mode and choose from a range of 2700 to 6500K. This light also rotates so I can turn it whichever direction needed. That works out very well. I can tilt it down to see the equipment below or tilt it up for the machines above. Having that ability is great. The diffusion of the light is helpful too, because it is not spotty at all. It is a nice soft light, but still plenty bright enough to function well. That is good for reading the instrument panels of the equipment. The buttons are responsive and it is very easy to use. The light comes with a power supply which is not too big and the cable is long enough to reach an outlet. This is a great light and works very well for me.
