[1.635 lb] I had been debating this purchase for a long time. I wasn't sure if it would work with my PL-Mount DZO Vespid lenses because the rear element of those lenses protrudes so far past the mount. On paper the flange distances should work but the Metabones website specifically states that the adapter is designed exclusively for the Zeiss CP.2, CZ.2, and CP.3 lenses and warns of potential damage when using other lenses. Seeking clarity, I visited the B&H store in New York and consulted with Sam, an employee in the professional video department. Sam went above and beyond, thoroughly testing the Speed Booster and lens combination. To my relief, we confirmed that the lenses did indeed fit the adapter. B&H's generous return policy also provided additional reassurance, knowing I wouldn't be stuck with an expensive paperweight if any issues arose. I have yet to bring the Speed Booster to an actual shoot to really put it through its paces, but based on my tests, it's compatible with the 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 90mm, 100mm, and 125mm DZO Vespid lenses on my RED Komodo 6K. Some adjustment of the infinity focus on the Speed Booster was required. Fortunately, the instructions for this adjustment can be found on the Metabones website, and there are plenty of tutorial videos on YouTube, making it a straightforward task. I'm excited to get some more time with the Speed Booster and see what it can really do. Thanks again to B&H and specifically Sam for all the help! 5

[Brass, Aluminum] I use this on my RED Komodo and Tilta Cage. It is rock solid. I first used the EF mount with my Cinema lenses and wireless follow focus. But that motor would push the lens up and down, really scary. Switched the lenses to PL mount and got this adapter. There is no lens flex anymore. 5

[Canon RF] It's so strange having my Komodo at 640 ISO, my 35/2 wide open and knowing there's not much light but seeing the image and scope a stop brighter. Very cool. Mount feels great, no wiggle, but looking for a support adapter just in case. 5

[Canon RF] Thankful that this thing had proper back focus, it comes in an overly sized box which is pretty heavy as well. Once you pull it out and place it on your camera you won’t want to take it off, with a nice silver polished locking ring it will surly stand out. It also provides wide enough flanges to work with all of your lenses and with a proper baseplate to lock the mount into place it will be as solid as a rock. 5

[1.635 lb] So far I'm loving this adapter. Using it on my RED Komodo and it helps bring all of my full frame glass back to full frame (actually just a bit wider than full frame) which will help to match my Komodo to my S1H. So far I don't see any horrble side effects, such as CA or anything. Obviously it won't be as good as having no speedbooster, I'm sure it softens the image a little bit and will add characteristics to the glass, but its just another tool for me to have in my arsenal and I think any flaws it has are minor enough to forgive. Would recommend the locking Cine version if you plan to use a motorized focus motor with vintage or heavier lenses. Definitely worth the extra money. 5
