The main TL-PA7017 adapter supports a 2-prong US outlet while the remote TL-WPA7517 module has a 3-prong US plug. To install this plug-and-play system, simply connect the TL-PA7017 adapter to your router and the TL-WPA7517 to a remote device through using their respective Gigabit Ethernet ports, then press the pairing buttons to link them.

No need to drill holes or lay down cabling. This powerline kit uses your home's electrical wiring to transfer up to 1 Gb/s of data to connected devices across up to 1000 feet. Powerline adapters must be used in sets of two or more while connected to the same electrical circuit.

The remote TL-WPA7517 module also delivers 802.11ac Wi-Fi coverage, supporting data transfers of up to 433 Mb/s over the 5 GHz band and 300 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz frequency.

Quickly set up your wireless network by pressing the Wi-Fi button on the powerline adapter and the WPS button on your router to copy your settings, including your network name and password, for a seamless experience as you move across your home. Changes are automatically synchronized with Wi-Fi powerline modules.

Monitor and manage your powerline network by downloading and installing the tpPLC app to your iOS and Android devices. There is also a tpPLC Utility available for desktop computers and laptops. Features include seeing real-time powerline speeds, turning the LEDs on and off, and setting up a guest login for visitors.

[1] I have a problem with cable running which require drilling the wall. The problem is solved by using powerline as data path instead by employing a pair of TP-Link Powerline adapter, just plug them on wall outlet and sync. However the throughput depend on powerline cable condition, I need to rewire my own home in a future which may result in data throughput substantially increase. 5

[10 to 90%] Was super easy to set up, and works perfectly. During setup it didn't pick up the existing 2.4 GHz credentials using WPS only 5.8GHz, but entering it manually worked fine. Everything else was plug-and-play. 5

[1.3 lb] So I plugged them in and they simply work. I did some research and was a tad worried that the wires in my home were not up to snuff, but I get stable connections every time. Be warned that you will not get full speed. I have a 60MB\s internet connection and get around 25. That is fine for my use on the equipment it’s attached to. 5

[1000 Mb/s] I plugged these in and followed the directions. It seemed that I had to press the button to get them to sync a couple times to get it to start but after that they just worked. It says in the directions to put them on the same circuit, not sure what that means. Mine are located in different rooms that are on different breakers and they work just fine. I'm using these in a home office with good wiring, not in a commerial location. 5
