The case is a split design style that allows the lid to be completely removed, allowing the console to stay seated on the base for easy load-out. Custom-molded slots allow for the NX2 accessories to be neatly stored during transit. All recessed hardware and corners allow for a very sleek case design that can fit easily in many locations.

Q: 4. Will this work with the Litepanels DMX module? I'm planning on using two Astras in a studio grid setting.

A: Yes it will work with the 5 pin DMX512

Q: 5. Is this fluid non-toxic?

A: According to the manufacturer MSDS it present any particular risk.

Q: 6. I have tested with just the only dmx light I have--it works but ony using the #1 slider--can't seem to assign the light to another slider. I'll be getting more dmx lights, so how can I assign lights to the other sliders? (If adjust the light itself to channel 2, I can still only control it with the #1 slider, and I didn't have any luck messing with the dip switches on the controller--I didn't fully understand their explanation of the switches.)

A: If you set the light's DMX address to one more than the address of the controller then it'll be able to be dimmed with slider #2. Set the light to two more than the address of the controller and you can use slider #3 to adjust it, and so on.

Q: 7. The E-Fly unit looks exactly the same as a ADJ WiFly unit. Can they work together?

A: Yes it is the same technology. Wifly is sold through ADJ and E-Fly throigh Elation.

Q: 8. Can it work with donner's wireless receivers?

A: This device is compatible with E-Fly products.

Q: 9. Does this come with mounting hardware?

A: It comes with brackets and magnet mount options. Clamps not included.

Q: 10. Can I use 2 of these units to wireless remote control motorized Bescor MP-101 motorized pan/tilt head?

A: According to the MFR these will only work with E-FLY and WI-FLY compatible devices.

[Plywood] the only issue is the lights flicker when sliding the sliders. a Pro lighting friend tells me its the lights and not the controller. but is great to adjust all my lights without moving around. 5

[Plywood] We have 4 pan tilt lights and need to use them live but not like during a programmed DJ event. We wanted a way to move the lights into place for a church play using them like spot lights on the actors. Most full-blown lighting controllers will not hold the lights in place if you switch to another (some brands of lights will park in their home position when they loose signal). These SDC12 controllers can only connect to one light at a time giving us individual and dedicated control over each light. However, you can connect more lights to one controller but all lights will do the same thing being locked onto the same address. 5

[Plywood] An excellent product with an excellent price point. The controller is simple, yet performs excellently with our two Leprecon hanging dimmers. It seems fairly robust and should hold up well to our students. Shipping time was quite remarkable, considering the controller left NYC on a Thursday and arrived in Boise on the following Monday. 5
