The black SmallRig VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery 99Wh Blackfrom SmallRig VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery 99Wh Blackis an ultracompact, lightweight 99Wh battery that can support up to a 14A draw at a nominal 14.8V. This travel-friendly battery is suitable for powering handheld cameras, drones, and gimbals.

The VB99 provides multiple accessory ports, including one 14.8V D-Tap output, one 8 VDC barrel output, one 12 VDC barrel output, one USB-C output, and one USB-A output for powering various accessories, cameras, or mobile devices. The battery can be charged using a standard V-mount charger, an optional D-Tap charger, or via the USB-C input/output with a 65W PD fast charger. [5 V] I ordered this to replace my older 95wh v-mount batteries which had stopped working. I was extremely surprised by how small they were compared to the older model I had. The USB-C charger is a game changer since I can charge it from anywhere, even on the the way between shoots in my truck. These batteries are well worth it if you are looking for an impressive v-mount battery. 5

[1.675 lb] I love this battery offering multiple ports and be able to be charged via USB C PD charger. I have tiny PD 65WH and 100WH charger. Both charges this battery fine. Has tons of output for various device. It even charges my LG Gram laptop! Very versatile battery in small compact foam factor. Very light compared to other similar capacity batteries. 5

[99 Wh] I have been debating adding V-mount batteries to my equipment list, but they always seemed like a single-tasking power option. And you needed extra equipment to charge them. When this product was feature in a B&H sale I jumped! Charge via USB-C port, also PD via USB-C port and was not that much more expensive than a power bank. I can power my lights and cameras; also bring on international vacations to power my CPAP machine with no worries about how to recharge it in other countries. 5

[V-Mount] Like all batteries I worry for it's effectiveness years down the line but so far this has been very reliable. I power my camera and monitor off this battery and it is easily handling over 5 hours of operating time. I am a big fan of the OLED battery capacity screen and if you don't have a v-mount charger these batteries can be recharged relatively quickly with a usbc cable. The VB99 is by far my favorite v-mount battery i've ever used. I will definitely be picking up another 99 and possibly a couple 50s for lighter operation. the VB99 does add significant weight to a handheld rig. 5

[16.8 VDC] These v-mount batteries are so much better than my old styles. With usb-c charging and output it adds versatility to my rig. Not to mention how SMALL and light this battery is. I remember opening the box and thinking “wow, this thing is cool”. I picked up 2 for now to run with my handheld fx3 rig. One goes most of the day powering my camera and a ninja v monitor so the 2nd is mainly for safety. 5
