We do find Sony batteries to be the most accurate, but good third party batteries such as this one are also excellent.

[1.01 lb] After 13 years, the original Sony battery for my EX1 was only charging up one third and not holding it for long. Actually pretty good for a battery that old. Fully charged-the Watson is giving me over 5 hours of recording time and holds its charge. It acts like a new battery and at 1/3 price of the OEM, a bargain! 5

[14.4 VDC] I use it with the EX1 to shoot documentaries. It is a great backup battery and for handheld work and stuff in tight spaces. It is a ton lighter than its big brother. Great battery. 5
