A: The mount is adjustable to fit many kinds of projectors. Ours holds a HD photo grade projector that is very large and heavy and it works fine. 8 inches should be no problem. I can't be sure about the plate your talking about but even the top mount is adjustable to fit a variety of brackets and braces so it should work.

A: The screen protector is approximately 11in x 8in.

A: This is a Universal baby pin mount there should be no issues using this on Elinchrom

A: From ceiling to the top of the projector's attachment hole is approximately 4.25 . This is assuming you utilize the included brackets and not use an extension tube.

[16:9] Nice, simple screen good for our needs, which is occasional use (eg. Friday movie night!) Shows very slight edge curl along the vertical edges, but nothing serious. Retracts at a reasonable speed - I still hold onto the included drawstring as it goes up, but it'd probably be fine if I didn't. Good picture quality from the surface. Light enough that I'll be OK with moving it from our living room to outside our garage door for neighborhood movie night in the summer. (Don't leave outside in the weather, of course.) Would definitely buy again. 5

[17 lb] This screen looks beautiful, is simple to assemble, and is an amazing value for the price! I couldn't be happierwith it. The frame looks clean and professional, and the screen is perfectly smooth- no awkward stretch or wrinkles. My only critique is it's a little difficult to make the corners align perfectly. I ended up with maybe half a millimeter gap on one corner, but you would have to look very closely to notice that. Otherwise the design is flawless. Impressively well engineered design with a minimal number of parts. I almost never leave reviews for products, but I am legitimately impressed with this product. I wouldn't want its lack of prior reviews to dissuade anyone from trying it out. 5
