[7.4 VDC] I purchased this adapter to provide an unlimited power source for my Canon R5 using an Anker PowerCore Elite III battery and charger. Prior to using the adapter in my camera, I first plugged the battery in separately and verified that the output voltage was correct. I found the unloaded output voltage delivered to the camera is 8.47 volts which is slightly higher than the Canon battery voltage of 8.05 volts. When placed into the Camera, I found that my R5 functioned properly with no apparent loss of functionality. I'm now performing a long-term test external to the camera before putting it into normal service. 5

[Sony L-Series] Using as a dummy battery for an edelkrone SliderONE PRO v2. Saves having to switch batteries and re-pair the system every other hour. USB-c is a little inconvenient until more chargers have usb-c instead of USB-A, but my Galaxy and macbook pro chargers both work for powering it. 5

[0.935 lb] PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BY THE OFFICIAL PANASONIC DC COUPLER WITH THIS TO MAKE IT WORK!! They cost around $20.00 This is a great addition to any Panasonic GH2 Kit as it allows you to run your GH2 of Sony NP Batteries which can be found almost anywhere on the internet and are incredibly cheap and can last for hours. I bought this for a concert where I had the Panasonic GH2 up near the roof of the arena and needed to run the camera for a long time. I also bought a Sandisk 64GB Extreme Pro card for high data rates for the shoot. Overall the Power Plate worked well and can run the camera for around 2-4 hours on a single NP-F970. I have a cheap chinese rip off battery so the run time is considerably less than the official Sony. This is a far more economical and cost effective solution than power the camera of the official Panasonic batteries. I would only recommend this solution for video work however and not for photography. The battery light blinks green when the battery is getting low. However I would like to have a red light instead to indicate this. But that isn't that much of an issue. The only other issue is mounting the thing. I threw this onto a Manfrotto 504HD head and there was plenty of room for this to sit on top with the GH2 also. If you were going handheld you would need to mount this sucker with some screws or gaffe tape as there is no mounting plate provided or even a 1/4 inch screw mount. So I'm just going to glue a cheap cold shoe mount to the base so it can dock easily wherever I put it. Overall it was a very good purchase and I couldn't of done the shoot without it. 5
