[176 ppi] This monitor is great! I love the versatility of it the most. I like how it can be upright in portrait mode (which is great for coding and such), or in normal landscape mode, angled in or angled out or flipped fully around, or attached or unattached to my laptop. I set this up on my 2019 MacBook pro (which already has USB-C ports on both sides) so it was just plug and play. The monitor is held on by magnets that attach to metal discs which fix on the back of the laptop with gelly 3M type adhesive (like that used for hanging artwork so the walls aren’t damaged). I was a bit worried about if it was going to be permanent or something, but it is a strong and easy-to-remove adhesive so I feel relieved about that.
Set up was real easy, just put the discs on the magnets, removed the adhesive backing, and plopped it on and plugged it in.
The resolution is good, not as good as a retina display, but that is obviously to be expected. The resolution is better than a lot of monitors for sure.

[60 Hz] This a great addition to my home office. I bought it after one of my monitor gave out on me. Now I carry around this with me as it is light weight and fit perfectly on my 14 inch laptop. It is very easy to set up from out of the box it comes with strong magnets to set up monitor on top your laptop screen. It does add bulk to laptop but when you need dual screen functionality it is great. Pic quality is good for doing office work.

The box that it came in super sturdy great for shipping. I could tell immediately it was a good quality.
You open it up it has very clear directions on how to apply the magnet backside. The picture is super clear. it attaches very easily to your laptop. The colors are slightly different than the display on my laptop, but it’s very minor. The size of the screen is perfect.
I use this when I have to go into a meeting and it is so convenient to have a second monitor. I also find it extremely useful when I am doing zoom. I like to have the group on one screen and what I’m looking at or talking about on the other screen.
Advantage of using a portable laptop monitor over just a second monitor, is that the displays are always at the same height. I would always have to take a laptop stand if I wanted to pull out a second monitor. That it is illuminated here

It’s been a game changer for my doctoral coursework - no more tabbing between all my open documents! The only way to make it better would be to go back in time so I could order it sooner.

[1920 x 1080] Just wanted to share how happy I am with this laptop monitor attachment. The amount of thoughtful design that went into it is astonishing. It has been the perfect addition to my work-from-home COVID minimalist office. Here's what I like most:
- The screen is bright, HD, and super sharp
- The display is lightweight and snaps on to the back of my laptop via strong magnets
- The monitor can be used both in landscape mode, or folded back in portrait mode (my favorite orientation)
- Powered and plug-and-play in Windows 10 via USB C

This was so easy to setup. I literally did not have to install any drivers (Win10). I just plugged it in (USB-C cable included) and it instantly got recognized as an additional display. It collapses very compactly and makes it easy to drag around my house (or take to meetings post-Covid). Everything about this was well though out, and the design is perfect. I am so happy with this and I highly recommend it!

[12.5"] There is a lot of good in this device and have not found any negative whatsoever. Having to work from home during this pandemic forced me to buy this screen, but I'm working off of my dining table and can't set up a regular monitor here. This is the perfect solution for me right now. With the included magnets you will attach this monitor to the back of your laptop, it then slides out and you now have dual monitors with pretty much the same footprint that the laptop takes up. It's also great that you do not need a separate power cable, attach the cable to your USB-C port on your laptop and it powers up your monitor. This really has been a great addition to my work station at home.

[LCD] Love the Mobile Pixels Trio Max!! Had an original Duo from the Indigogo days that I wore out over the last couple of years and my wife bought me a Trio Max for XMas. These monitors are exceptional and make working remotely so much easier. Bought myself a second Trio Max so I could set up triple monitors. Awesome!!

[LCD] Glad to see all the helpful guides. Very easy to set up. Very durable and the picture quality is very sharp. My photos don't do it justice. The packaging was put together well. This monitor has allowed me to unplug from my regular monitor and travel around my home which is really nice not having to be stuck in one location all day long.

[2.95 lb] I absolutely love this screen! It’s going to increase my productivity so much. The screen seems brighter and sharper than my laptop. Installation was plug and play and super easy. Even on my smaller MacBook Pro, the magnets were easy to install and they came with extras. Now I’m working on getting it to also work with my Mac desktop next.
