Inside the aluminum and borosilicate glass is a top LED light and bottom vibrating LED diffuser lens. Both work together to simulate a real flickering flame. Your streaming music is emitted by the omnidirectional 2.5" full-range driver in the domed top, for 360° of sound. Together with a 3" passive radiator, the light speaker supplies an open sound with rich bass and crisp details.

[5.0] I have been using this as my new walkaround speaker, and it works great. It comes with me throughout my morning routine as I catch up on podcasts and playlists, and I like that I don't have to worry about it getting wet. Ideal size and weight allow it to fit nicely wherever I place it. There are no issues with connectivity, and I haven't had to charge it yet after a week's use out of the box. It's doing everything I'm asking for a $20 speaker. 5

[3500 mAh] I hemmed and hawed a long time before deciding to buy this, and I am really glad that I did. It's small and light, convenient to use in many situations, and the sound is really good. I mean, I used to shoulder a huge, heavy boom box in the early 80's and the sound from this little think is just as good! It also has a cool, modern and pleasing look and is simple to operate. For an ordinary person who wants to take a great sound wherever they go, at a good price, this is the one. 5

But don't let the size fool you- it has great sound, great bass and is plenty loud enough, sometimes too loud : ) Easy to throw in my bag at the end of the day. Seems to be very durable. We already have 2 other larger JBL speakers and have never had any issues. This smaller one was well worth the price. 5

[Aluminum] So I'm a mailman and this guy has been a life saver. He's been through rain, sleet, and snow and keep powering through. Been using this guy every day since I bought it 5 months ago. Still has great sound and amazing battery life. Highly recommend. Barely started scratching it and only has a smig of damage with how much abuse it has taken. 5
