NFC Automatic Channel-Setting Mode
Press and hold the NFC/Sync button, and the dual receiver scans for the two cleanest RF channels (one for each transmitter). Simply hold the transmitters next to the receiver; it automatically syncs up and you’re good to go!

High-Gain Mode for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
The High-Gain mode boosts the output level of the receiver, allowing you to turn down the input gain of your DSLR/mirrorless camera to achieve an even quieter signal.

External Mic Input for Additional Wired Microphone
There is an external mic-input connector on the receiver for plugging in an additional wired microphone. It allows for up to four-channel audio recording when using a stereo microphone.

Built-In 4-Channel Mixer
The URX-P41D offers a 4-channel mixer that enables you to control your mic levels (up to four) as well as assign output 1 and/or 2 as needed.

High-Visibility OLED Display for Indoor/Outdoor Use
The URX-P41D features an easy-to-read OLED display. The quick response of the display lets you see the operating conditions clearly and accurately in real time, even in bright sunlight.

Channel Memory Function for Fast Switching Between 4 Transmitters
The channel memory function lets you quickly switch between the groom’s lav mic and the wedding guest’s interview mic with the press of a button. It also allows for a fast change between up to four mics in corporate presentations or quickly swapping to back-up mics.

To achieve stable audio, the URX-P41D employs true-diversity technology with two antennas and two independent receiver sections within the unit. Both RF signals are compared and the stronger signal is automatically selected for output—reducing dropouts to a minimum (True diversity is available only in single-channel mode. In dual-channel mode, the receiver relies on antenna diversity).

The angle of the two antennas can be adjusted to further prevent signal dropouts.

Great for videographers traveling to different cities, the All-Band scanning function scans the entire spectrum of the receiver to give you the two best frequencies at your shooting location. The system offers a 72 MHz bandwidth with 2772 UHF frequencies.

Unlike with traditional analog wireless systems, The URX-P41D supplements its proven analog UHF transmission technology with a proprietary digital audio processing. Transient sounds and consonants are reproduced with greater accuracy, resulting in clear, natural sound that’s intelligible and nuanced.

The URX-P41D features a robust, all-metal construction well suited for tough operating conditions.

Using the included shoemount adapter, the URX-P41D easily mounts on your camera, while adding minimal weight to your rig. Cables are included to connect to cameras equipped with either a 3.5mm or an XLR audio inputs.

The optional SMAD-P5 digital MI Shoe adapter allows you to integrate the URX-P41D with XDCAM camcorders and select Sony cameras equipped with a digital Multi Interface Shoe.

  • This setup provides a direct digital connection, skipping the receiver’s D/A and camera’s A/D converters for superior audio quality and low noise.
  • Audio information such as RF level meter, audio-mute status, and low-battery alert for the transmitters is displayed on the camera's viewfinder.
  • This cable-free configuration allows for fast setup in the field.

Two AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH rechargeable type) power the URX-P41D for up to 4.5 hours.

A battery count-up timer allows for accurate reading of battery running time to minute accuracy.

The URX-P41D can also be powered through its USB port, allowing it to run for numerous hours on a USB power pack or indefinitely, if you have access to AC.

With the SMAD-P5 Digital MI Shoe adapter, the URX-P41D can get power directly from Sony cameras equipped with an MI Shoe.

Cartridge-type battery cases allow for quick battery replacement on set.

If your camera doesn’t have a headphone jack, Phone mode lets you monitor your sound via the receiver’s headphone output while recording.

  • The URX-P41D provides a variable output level control of ±12 dB, useful when working with cameras without manual input level control.
  • Simple menus make navigation easy. Advanced menus for in-depth control are also available.
  • You can operate up to 16 mics per frequency band in one location.

This fourth-generation URX-P41D receiver can be used with UWP Series, third-Generation and fourth-generation UWP-D Series, and WL-800 Series transmitters.

[<0.9 %] Just recently bought these and used them for the first time at a very loud San Francisco Giants Baseball game, where I needed to record interviews of people during the game. It was easy so sync the transmitter up to the receiver, I got no interference at all, and the audio was really really good. I accidentally had it coming in too hot, but the transmitter handled that extra loud noise really really well, and the final result sounds great!! The build quality on these also feels super good. Excited to use this for a long time!

[2] It is getting to be harder to find 2 or 4 clear channels depending on where you are. The all band receiver saves me a lot of time searching for clear channels across all 3 bands. The second channel works like the URX-P03D while making the Transmitter programming much easier.

[2] I purchased this set to replace a previous UWP set that needed to be replaced due the the 600 mhz frequency. I have only used this updated set twice so far but am very pleased with the sound quality and ease of use with this set. Transmission seems clearer than my old set and like the ability to easily scan and pair the two units to the clearest channel available.

[2] Bought these last minute to use with my Sony Fx6. I found them to be much more straight forward than my old
Sennheiser EW 100 ENG G3 kits, that always got hits while I was in the middle of recording.
I love their simplicity, I love that you can have two transmitters with one receiver. NOTE you must buy the
Sony SMAD-P5 Digital MI Shoe Adapter for UWP-D if you want to utilize the transmitter and your hot shoe feature on your Sony Camera! This adaptor makes it so your Sony camera not only powers the transmitter, but it lets your camera access the audio, so you don't need to run an 1/8 inch cable from your transmitter to your XLR inputs on your camera. It's amazing, truly treamlines audio on your Sony camera!

[16] My sound guy bought the previous version of this wireless set and we've used it as a camera hop from mixer to camera for a couple years now. They're super convenient when I have to work one man band for any kind of interview or broll setup. Nice to have a cable free installation, though I do wish there were a way to mount it on the back of my FX9 rig. I'm 6'4 and with the FX9 on my shoulder and the wireless receiver on top, I've bumped a couple of doorways.
Works great on my FX9, FX3 and A7IV, plus you can use multiple receivers if you're in the same block, so multi cam setups fed from the audio mixer are easier.
Overall, if you use auto tune at every location (and it's super easy)) this is a pretty bulletproof system for camera people. Still have my lectrosonics in the bag just in case, but this set is now my go to system when showing up on set.
