This AQUATECH EDGE Sony a7R III Conversion Kitlets you use your camera in an Aquatech EDGE Sport housing originally designed for a different model. It contains a dedicated backplate with camera controls, a camera plate, and a dedicated cable release, all compatible with the a7R III.

The great advantage of using a conversion kit is that you can cross between camera models or manufacturers without needing to purchase a new water housing if you upgrade your camera or would like to use two different cameras in the water for different reasons.

A: Yes. The Anton Bauer 68Wh Titon Base Battery (B&H # ANTBB) included in the Anton Bauer Titon Base Kit for Sony a9, a7R III, a7S III may be used to charge devices that use a D-Tap/P-Tap connector or which use a USB Type A connector to power the device.

Q: 8. Can an FX3 be powered by the Titon base from the USB output to the USB-C input of the camera?

A: The USB output of the Anton Bauer Titon base only provides 5V 2A (10W) of output, which is likely not powerful enough to sustain the FX3, or any other Sony camera. Sony recommends a 9V 3A (27W) of USB power to sustain the camera over longer shoots. That being said, the dummy battery used by the Titon is exactly the one you need for the PD, but if you're running two cameras off it, it likely will not be able to sustain one of them via USB.

A: Since the charger outputs 1.5 Amps, the battery will not be able to charge and power the Sony A7SIII simultaneously.

Super light, many other accesories to make it even better. I'm using it with a Sony A7RIII and an Atomos ninja Flame. Just ordered the hand grip to have better support. Rather than other brands that get to rust all over and sweat your hands, 8sinn products are made of pure aluminum, hyper ergonomic and amazing design. Im not paid by 8sinn or B&H, but as a producer-filmmaker i must recomment to fellow colleagues brands that worth every buck!....This one is a must buy! 5

Absolutely a must have addition to any Sony camera. The quality and craftsmanship is amazing. I’m so impressed with the design and ideas smallrig came up with to make this cage. Not only keeps my camera safe it gave me the opportunity to add on some new equipment. Absolutely the best with smallrig !!!! 5

I shoot surf photography and I came from having a 5D Mk III with the Elite series housing purchased in 2014. The Edge series is a huge improvement. The back plate is always aligned with the bottom hinges and the electronic shutter works great. Additionally it's lighter and smaller than the Elite series. Highly recommend. 5

So I was originally cautious of buying this given there was no prior reviews, but I decided to go on a limb and take the risk, and it was well worth it. When I first opened it, I wasn't sure how to put it together, but once I did I became really happy with it. I use this shoulder mount just about every time I go on a shoot, whether its for conducting interviews or shooting b-roll, for sports, construction, nature shots, etc. It works great, and I could adjust it perfectly to hug my shoulder so the footage is nice and steady. Definitely worth the buy. 5

I bought this housing for my Nikon Z6ii to replace the one I still have for Nikon D7000 series. The housing pretty much has the same quality but the new back cover with the locking system is much better than the previous system. It feels safer, hard to open in case some accident happens. The controls are good, just need to get used to it. Also the pistol grip connector under the housing is very practical when using the pistol grip. I can still use my old ports but not the old pistol grip. The orange color stands out among the crowded line up. 5

Shot an entire wedding without changing a battery - with plenty of power to spare. I was always checking the amount of battery remaining and would put in a fresh battery prior to major events - ceremony - reception entrance - toasts and speeches. Since I added this to my gear list, it is used the entire evening. At the end of the evening, there is usually no less than 60% remaining. I now have high confidence that I will not run out of battery during the time of need. I use manfrotto quick release plates on top and bottom of the titan base, which is what i use for all of my camera gear. 5
