Ensure a secure and long-lasting connection between compatible devices with the Sescom XLM6-XLF6 Belden & Neutrik 6-Pin XLR Male to 6-Pin XLR Female Cable. The cable is designed for multiple applications including line-level, balanced analog audio applications. It's also an ideal choice for tube microphone applications, extension cables, dual-channel intercom systems, stage lighting, and professional stereo headsets with balanced microphones.

This 100' XLM6-XLF6 cable is terminated with a Neutrik NC6MXX 6-pin XLR male connector at one end and a Neutrik NC6FXX XLR 6-pin female connector at the other. Both connectors feature rugged, zinc diecast shells.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the TRS end wired for stereo unbalanced or mono balanced?

A: The DigitalFoto Solution Limited Right-Angle 6-Pin Female LEMO to 3.5mm Male TRS Audio Cable for ARRI ALEXA Mini LF is intended for stereo, line-level audio input.

Q: 2. Can all inputs and outputs be used at the same time without losing any sound power?

A: The Sescom SES-XLR-RGAB2 is an A/B switch, so only one output can be active at one time.

Q: 3. Can this be used to connect crown 311 headset microphone to a senheisser bodypack

A: Our cable is wired straight thru (1 to 1, 2 to 2), with pins 3 & 4 bridged with a buss wire to the sleeve of the 3.5mm TRS. You will need to confirm the pin configurations of the Crown headset and Sennheiser bodypack to confirm compatibility. Thanks!

Q: 4. Will this work with the Canon R-5?

A: No, the Rollocam Camera Trigger Cable with 2.5mm Male to 3-Pin Female for Canon EOS Cameras is not compatible with the Canon R5.

Q: 5. Will this adapter work with a countryman flute mice to a Rode Xl-XLR wireless system?

A: Hi Robert. Our assembly features bridged pins 3 and 4 on the XLR end, pins 1 and 2 are wired straight thru- I'm unsure of the pinouts that your equipment requires, but if it requires bridged pins 3 and 4 on the XLR connector then you should be good using this as an adapter. Thank you!

Q: 6. I want to use a hand mic with a movo wireless. Should I use a trs or ra cable?

A: "TRS" refers to the specific wiring of a connector, whereas "RA" (right angle) only refers to its orientation and does not affect the signal otherwise. If your MOVO wireless has a 3.5mm TRS microphone input, the Kopul XRSM 3-Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm RA Stereo Mini-Plug Cable (10') would be a good choice for connecting a dynamic microphone.

Q: 7. I assume the device at the 1/8 end is NOT sending phantom power. So does the mic still work? With how much dB loss? Wikipedia says phantom power raises the threshold where distortion starts, ... so won't loss of phantom power make the mic more sensitive so it distorts more quickly?

A: I tried to run the XLR end from my pre-amp (with a real vocal mic plugged into it) into my computer -- and naturally it didn't work. I'm sure I'd need some sort of in-between adaptor. But I never returned the cord. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Q: 8. can this be used with microphones requiring plug in power? Not 48v phantom, but 1-3v?

A: This cable is intended to be used with dynamic mics and self-powered (battery) condenser mics.

Q: 9. Can this be used to connect Audio-Technica BP892cW-TH condenser mic to a computer?

A: Good Morning Tai-ping. From what I am finding, that mic uses a 4-pin Hirose connector, not a 4-pin XLR male, so this cable will not mate properly. We unfortunately don't offer any assemblies with 4-pin Hirose connectors. The computer also likely wouldn't provide power to the mic that it requires (and receives from a beltpack transmitter). Thank you!

Q: 10. Are there replacements for the non ear piece cushion?

A: There are currently no replacements available for the small cushion on the Senal SMH-1010CH Single-Sided Communication Headset with 5-Pin XLRM Cable for Telex System.

[Yes] Needed to replace some older cables and these were readily available. Work great and a great price in comparison to Clear Com name brand, which were on back order.

[24 AWG] I was interested in the possible sound quality difference between this 50' cable and a really short one (3 to 18). I did a test recording in stereo with the left channel using my really short one (Kopul Coiled 3-Pin XLR-M to Angled 3-Pin XLR-F Cable (3 to 18)) and the right channel using this 50' cable coiled on the floor. I kept mics and recorder exactly the same for the experiment and rotated my setup in the room halfway through in case there was one side of the room that was better than another.

By ear I can detect no difference between the two sides in the recording. Both had no discernible hiss when recording a vocalist.

Fantastic!!

[Silver] I'm doing a series of round table discussions around the country with eight talent in each discussion session. Because i'm flying to each location, space and weight are at a premium so I'm using a Zoom F8 mixer, HOSA Little Brother 50-foot sub snake and eight dpa 4061 lavaliere microphones plus accessories and a slate. Everything has to fit in a carry in a small roller case and a small back pack so i don't have to check any bags. I'm using eight of the 10-foot Remote Audio cables to split off from the sub snake to feed the lavalieres. I carry a few-25 foot XLR cables as back up's if I need a little bit more reach. The 10-foot cables made all the difference in the world for space and weight constraints due to air travel. I've used Remote Audio cables for over a decade without a single cable failure. Remote Audio makes them tight and right.

[Silver] This 6-pin cord was hard to find. But found it at B&H. It fits the microphone I needed it for and thats all one could ask. Its 25'. I wished there were more choices as I would have opted for a shorter length.
