Q: 1. what is the typical exposure time for this when shooting waterfalls in the day.. are we looking at 10 seconds or 10 minutes?

A: Cathy, it would be somewhere around 1 second to 4 seconds. If the normal shutter speed is 1/1000 with big stopper it would be 1 second. If the normal shutter speed is 1/250 with big stopper it will be 4 seconds. Lee filters has a nice app that shows the conversion if you are interested.

Q: 2. What is the largest lens diameter this filter holder can hold?

A: The largest lens diameter is 112mm, which the adapter ring can be found at the following link: http://bhpho.to/1qnBILj

Q: 3. Will a Lee 150mm ND filter fit properly in an NiSi filter holder?

Q: 6. Will this holder vignette @ 10mm focal length on a Sigma 10-20mm Lens with a 77mm thread?

A: As long as you use the LEE Filters Adapter Ring - 77mm - for Wide Angle Lenses (B&H # LEARWA77), you shouldn't experience vignetting at 10mm with the 10-20mm lens.

Q: 7. Will this work with the B&H 100mm filter holder (with the correct adapter)?

A: I can only assume it would. I have been using Lee's Lens hood with built in filter holder for years and highly recommend it.

A: This is designed for the Lee Filter 150 System and the Mark II version which has a Lightguard in the II system that did not exist in the I version. I have the Mark II Holder sand have no problems with this filter used in it. Mixing and matching mfrs is not always a good idea.

Q: 10. Will Lee's Big Stopper work with the Tamron 14MM lens? And, what adapter ring would I use with it and the Lee Filters Foundation Kit?

A: I'm using Lee's Big Stopper with my cokin z pro filter holder for my Canon lens with two Cokin adaptor rings ( 82 mm and 77 mm). It works perfect for me. I don't have experience with Lee Filters Foundation Kit.

[72 mm] This is the 2nd Lee 10 stop (Lee Big Stopper) I have purchased from B&H. The service has always been great. My Lee Big Stop filter has does a great job. The reason I have purchased a 2nd is that I damage the first is I broke the first one in half.

[Solid ND] I wanted the big stopper for use on my D800 with 14-24 lens. Bought a Photodiox filter system a while back. Tho the Lee is too small to fit the slots, I just used some rubber bands top and bottom to hold it on. Works great for those long exposures.
