Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this filter fit the NiSi 100mm System V5 Filter Holder Kit?

A: Not sure, I used the Lee filter holder

Q: 2. 150x150 Lee Big Stopper can it be used for Solar Eclipse?

A: No, you must use a solar filter.

Q: 3. what is the typical exposure time for this when shooting waterfalls in the day.. are we looking at 10 seconds or 10 minutes?

A: Cathy, it would be somewhere around 1 second to 4 seconds. If the normal shutter speed is 1/1000 with big stopper it would be 1 second. If the normal shutter speed is 1/250 with big stopper it will be 4 seconds. Lee filters has a nice app that shows the conversion if you are interested.

Q: 4. Little stop for Nikon 14 24

A: This Filter was designed to be used with the Lee SW Mark II Filter Holder. That Holder is only Compatibilityfor use with the following ultra-wide-angle lenses:Nikon AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G EDSamyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMCSigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 II DG HSMTokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 PRO FX

Q: 5. Will this work with sigma 18 35

A: Yes. Just make sure you get correct filter adapter. I use the 4x6 filters on mine.

Q: 6. Will this filter holder attach to my canon 24-105mm f4 lens? My lens takes 77mm filter threads. Or do I need to buy an adapter with it?

A: Yes you will need the 77mm adaptor. You will need an adaptor sized to each different lens size in your bag. Watch out for the wide angle vs standard as well. Wide angle adaptors allow the filter to sit closer to the camera to avoid blocking view.

Q: 7. What do I need other than a wide angle adapter to be able to use 77mm CPL with this, does the tandem adapter need extra adapter to mount on the holder?

A: If you have one LEE Filter Foundation Kit, you'll need a second one to hold the tandem adaptor. If not, you'll save a few bucks by buying the complete kit (with two tandem adaptors).

Q: 8. Will this fit NiSi 150mm Filter Holder for Tokina 16-28mm Lens ?

A: I bought it for the Lee Filter system.I have never used NiSi system

Q: 9. Does anyone have a comparison on the Super Stopper compared to Lee's ProGlass 15 stop filter? Almost twice the price, is it worth it?

A: The LEE Filters 100 x 100mm ProGlass IRND 4.5 Filter (15-Stop) B&H # LEPGIRN15100 is more expensive because it combines two filters in one. Not only the ND but it also has an IR filter as well. Because digital sensor are susceptible to the infrared that get through the ND, this helps to keep your blacks from going to a very-hard-to-correct magenta color shift.

Q: 10. Will this work with the B&H 100mm filter holder (with the correct adapter)?

A: I can only assume it would. I have been using Lee's Lens hood with built in filter holder for years and highly recommend it.

[0.27 lb] It's great no color cast and gives you slow shutter speed.

[67 mm] Works great, but be careful not drop it and store them carefully, since they are fragile.

[67 mm] Great ND filter, does exactly what it should. The quality is fantastic, very well made. I use this primarily for filmmaking, this really helps keep the exposure in check.

[0.27 lb] The little stopper filter works great in low light for those long exposers in the morning time or at sunset. Also for cloudy days when you need to cut the light a little for the effect you're looking for. You do get a little blue tint to the image, but it's easily fixed in Lightroom with just a click.
