A 1.5x squeeze ratio is a perfect balance between the size and anamorphic intensity. With a 1.5x squeeze ratio, you will have a 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeeze. There is also room for you to crop into a 2.4:1 widescreen ratio.

[Yes] After reading the review in NewsShooter I thought I'd give these a go. They are my first anamorphic lenses (usually so expensive).

Even though I'm using this on my URSA Mini (super 35) with PL mount, the image captured is lovely - probably the sweet spot of the lens. It's full of character, but not too much. Sharp enough, but not clinical. The mechanics feel good and smooth build quality is solid.

They are quite a nice wide anamorphic 1.8x squeeze. For some recordings of the landscape in our valley, I wanted to capture a full panoramic. So recording to the full sensor (16:9) and then de-squeezing without cropping I ended up with a 3.3:1 panoramic. Obviously I won't be delivering a commercial project in that aspect ratio, but for my home recordings it's lovely to see such a vista captured in one shot.

I can highly recommend.

[Super35/APS-C] I used to have the Series T anamorphic lens for iphone, this one is a lot sharper, especially on the edge, and smoother color grading. And the gold flare is way better. I recommedn it

[Super35/APS-C] This lens looks great, has interesting flares and has character up the wazoo. I love the distortion of this lens. It may be my PL mount, but the lens is a bit too soft at the moment at distances past 10 meters, and I'll have it checked out soon at a rental house with focus charts. Besides that, so amazing!

[T2.4] Conversion with supplied EF mount was not too difficult. Fit is perfect. Love this affordable option for shooting anamorphic. Ordered the Laowa Venus 1.33x front anamorphic adapter to get a 2x squeeze out of it. Because of the availability delay on the adapter I can't report on the two together yet. But at a 1.5x squeeze I'm pretty impressed. Every review on youtube has been pretty spot on so no need to repeat it here.

[T16] The iPhone 15 Pro cameras are bigger, so add-on lenses have to be optimized for the new camera. (Stay away from budget lenses) I was happy to see it was sharp and in focus from corner to corner on my 15 Pro. The T-series mount is larger. Moment sells phones cases for the mount, and some iPhone cages have available adapter plates that can handle T-series mounts.
Mount the lens by twisting. Use the included hex key to align the lens so it's vertical.
The iPhone 15 Pro camera is already wide, so adding a 1.33x lens means we are approaching the ultra wide view of a GoPro. (You can punch in with the Blackmagic Camera app--so that gives you a range of options).
The gold anamorphic flares are stronger than the older models which is nice.
Worth the money.

[T2.4] This lens gives the image quality I’ve been looking for in a package that has never been so easy to work with. The gears and focus thread allow me to pull focus while on gimbal and use light weight 77mm filters and diopters! I use this lens wide open all the time and love it! Give it a try!

[Yes] Excellent value! Just make sure to buy a 82mm close-up vivitar lens set as well as it will make this lens a lot more useful and also mitigate some of its weaker points. Weight is great as well. Overall this is a very good mix of Anamorphic bliss for full frame sensors and image quality especially when you want flares a little more controlled. I'm using it with the Red V-Raptor VV.

[Super35/APS-C] I've already used this lens on three different projects and it is genuinely incredible how much character and filmic quality it adds to footage. I use this lens with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k and the combination of size and focal length make it an ideal No. 1 lens for narrative and music video work. I can fly it on the DJI RS2 easily. I also have the Vazen 40mm, which is another incredible lens, but in terms of ease of use, the 28mm tops it - thanks mostly to its reduced size and increased depth of field. It makes it much more ideal for fast moving shots where it's important to still keep most of the frame in focus. The flares on this lens are absolutely gorgeous as well. The only minor gripe is that the aperture ring does feel like it moves a bit too easily. I haven't had any problems with it slipping so far, but that's the only thing I've really noticed. Otherwise, WOW!

[T2.4] Ive used the 27mm for a while and was convinced I needed something a bit closer for my kit. Great tool to have and compliments the the other lenses as well for both my Komodo and R5C! Very little distortion, barely any breathing and the silver flare is not obnoxious! Recommend these lenses as they are small and light and great intro to the bigger and beefier vintage anamoprhics.
