The 12µm, NETD ≤25mK sensor allows you to experience precision detail recognition during the roughest weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. The cutting-edge sensor is designed with advanced technology to deliver organic and rich imaging. Highly sensitive, it's capable of detecting subtle differences in temperature. The 50 Hz frame rate of the sensor ensures strong dynamic capture ability. With no picture smearing delay, the sensor delivers vivid images of consistent sharpness and higher clarity.

The SA32 uses proprietary software, superior electronic components, and signal-processing algorithms to deliver high values of sensitivity in the infrared spectrum (nighttime sensitivity). The scope is engineered to provide exceptional detection and recognition of targets, stronger high-speed processing capability, and correction of image distortion.

When you turn on the self-activated recording feature, the scope will automatically record in 20-second intervals (to an optional microSD card) when it senses recoil from the shot.

The shutter correction function provides advanced responses to changes in ambient temperature. It automatically updates the offset correction coefficients and adjusts image quality according to specified requirements. This results in a more static image and ensures sharp clarity, boosting detector accuracy.

Capture photos and record videos while out in the field. The SA32 supports up to a 128GB memory card and features a 1024 x 768 OLED display for playback. Images are smoother and have more detail. You can take photos and videos, anytime and anywhere. The device can support up to 128GB external storage, so you don't have to worry about running out of storage space. Capture thrilling moments on your hunting trip and share high-resolution images of your outdoor adventures on social media.

Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect your smartphone, tablet, or laptop as an external viewfinder. This allows you to see your photos and videos on a larger screen, as well as transfer images wirelessly. (iOS users can download the Roadcam app to connect to Wi-Fi, and Android users can install the OKCAM app.)

The scope features a quick switch function for choosing between three scene modes: city, forest, and rain. The image will be adjusted according to the selected scene mode, allowing you to adapt to different environments.

Choose from multiple color palettes to highlight a target according to different environmental backgrounds. Select white hot, black hot, red hot, iron hot, edge, and sky mode.

Six reticle options are available for better aiming visibility, and you can choose up four different colors.

The SA32 achieves a recoil resistance of 6000J. It's recoil-proof and suitable to withstand the recoil of high caliber rifles.

The SA32 thermal scope is rated IP67 waterproof for optimal performance in harsh conditions such as wet and snowy weather.

A 100-lumen flashlight is integrated into the scope and can be used to illuminate and locate various targets even in dark conditions.

[7.5 x 5.6°] I've owned some of the most popular rangefinders and used most of the rest at one time or another while playing golf with others. As a longtime Canon user, I was happy they jumped into this category with their optics and technology.
As a rangefinder:
+ Locks onto pin with prism immediately. -Faster than all the rest I've ever used, it's actually quite surprising how fast it locks on.
+ Unit vibrates when lock is established.
+ Numbers are crisp and easy to see in viewfinder. Integrated diopter adjustment for those who need it like me.
+ Unit is small, lightweight and fits in back pocket - I mostly walk while playing and wanted a small form factor. Always wondered why most of them are not smaller. Not an issue in my hand to hold steady while taking readings with image stabilization.
+ Rechargeable battery via USB C (no more searching for CR2s). Battery charge icon is lit in viewfinder each time unit is utilized.
+ Zoom function is handy to located far targets and even help identify golf balls- was on the tee side of a creek and wasn't sure whose ball carried the hazard. Used the zoom function to identify the ball from 20 yards away.
+Canon menu is simple to navigate and set the unit/change and modify.
+ Camera is an added bonus; I did not purchase it for that function but have used it and works to my expectations with a small handheld device. Same with the video.
- Only option that some will miss is the internal magnet that other brands have to enable the unit to be put on the support bar of a golf car and help you forget your rangefinder after golf.

[<25 mK] This Nikon Laser 50 is better than the 4K Black. I now have both, and did an AB test on them.

They range exactly the same, at about 3700 yards each(best case) and about 1900 on trees.

The main difference is the L50 has a Magnesium case, and will display angle or compensated yardage in the display.

The Laser 50 also comes with a 5 year warranty.

I'm not sure why Nikon called it a 50, and not a 4K Black mark II, but this performs exactly the same as the old 4k Black.

[2.99 lb] My 15-year-old Nikon rangefinder couldn't lock onto the flag unless it was blowing in the wind, which was frustrating. The 50i solved this issue, plus it indicates the ball-path yardage based on elevation change.

[1024 x 768 OLED] I purchased these for hunting and have used them for about one week glassing mule deer and pronghorn is the wide open spaces of Wyoming. The glass is shockingly crisp and bright with zero edge distortion or chromatic aberration and is exceptionally bright in low light. The electronics are quick and responsive. The controls are very intuitive and tactile. I compared these side by side with the Leica Geovids and Swaro EL Range and I could not tell a difference in glass quality. The electronics in the Swaro are worse but the electronics in the Geovids were superior (although I don't need a ballistic calculator in my optics). One thing to note is that the binos DO CALCULATE TRUE HORIZONTAL RANGE. Why that isn't advertised is beyond me. All in all if someone gifted me $4k to spend on binos I'd buy these again...and then spend the other $2500 or so on something else.
