[Regulated] Installs effortlessly, fits perfectly. The fact that the slide swings up makes it a perfect addition to my FX-9. The Sony battery stays loaded inside and can be accessed by simply loosening the slide and swinging it up. Other competing units are screwed on and cover the battery compartment so changing the battery is more of an effort. 5

[12 VDC] It feels very solid on my FX6. I like that you can run a BP-U battery concurrently. It is a bit pricey though. 5

[0.05 lb] It makes the camera a bit clunkier, but the amount of battery life it adds is well worth it, especially compared to the proprietary sony batteries that go in the camera. And wooden camera is the best, I always go with them for accessories if I can afford it. 5

[Regulated] I bought this for my new Sony FX6. I already had V-Mount batteries that I use for my Sony A7SIII. This plate lets you hot swap the V-Mount battery. The plate tilts and you can adjust the position as needed. Only thing to keep in mind is that the 2 screws used to mount this on to the camera, can get lost. Especially the smaller one.
