The 12" Wooden Camera Battery Slide Pro Power Cable for the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K/6K Pro is a replacement or spare cable for the Wooden Camera Micro Battery Slide and Micro Battery Slide Pro series. With a straight 2-pin LEMO connector at one end and a right-angled 3-pin LEMO at the other end, it enables you to use either Gold mount or V-mount battery power options for your Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema cameras.

Q: 1. Does this work with the BMPCC 6K Pro as well?

A: No it does not. the 6K pro is a different shape from the Pocket Cinema 4K and original 6K cameras. The Pocket 6K Pro will not fit in the cage that comes in this kit.

A: The Wooden Camera Cage for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro will not be compatible with the new BMCC6k.

Q: 4. Is there a (technical) reason this wouldn't work with cameras other than a Pocket 6K Pro if you have the appropriate Dtap cable?

A: The Micro Battery Slide Pro (Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K / 6K / 6K G2 / 6K Pro, Gold Mount) comes with a Power cable that would only work with the cameras listed from Black Magic. However if you don't use the power cable is should work with any other camera model if you use the D-Tap connector that is located on most Gold mount Batteries. The Battery slider pro also has 2 D-Tap connectors on the mount. Please note you would need 15mm rods to mount it.

Q: 5. Would this hood fit on a Canon R5?

A: No it will not. the LCD screen on the Canon R5 is significantly smaller than the LCD screen on the Pocket Cinema Cameras. This hood will be too large for the Canon R5

Q: 6. Will this connect to the wooden unified cage for my BMPCC4K using the plate that comes with the cage?

A: If you are referring to the Battery Slide provided in the kits, yes this is compatible.

A: Yes, this is compatible with both the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K.

Q: 8. The product photo appears to show the cable coming of the back of the dummy battery. Does this fit up inside the BMPCC 6K Pro?

A: No, the Core SWX PowerBase EDGE Sony L-Series Dummy Battery Cable for BMPCC 6K Pro has a cable with DC barrel that goes into the Core SWX PowerBase EDGE.

Q: 9. Is there a way to attach this to a cheese plate and/or 15mm bracket?

A: For this you will want to purchase our Battery Slide + Rod Clamp 15mm LW or our Battery Swing.

A: No it does not. the 6K pro is a different shape from the Pocket Cinema 4K and original 6K cameras. The Pocket 6K Pro will not fit in the cage that comes in this kit.

[14 VDC] Love how this plate gives you the ability to adjust the height and angle of lean for your v-mount battery. The additional d-tap on the plate is also super handy. Overall, exactly what I've looking for. 5

[14 VDC] Hello - I have this anxiety when plugging usb in and out of a device, and this creates a 'failsafe' - it's an additional possible point of failure, but I'd prefer it from the adapter than the actual camera. The only thing I have is that the bottom part of the adapter makes it hard to remove the dtap power connector. Minor tradeoff. 5

[14 VDC] I found this link from Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras Facebook group so I gave it a shot. I’ve used it under bright sunlight and it was able to handle glare and let me view my camera LCd screen accurately. It also folds to protect the LCD when not in use. The good: it works with all models Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras. I highly recommend this, it’s an accessory every Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Canera user must have. 5
