A "incompatible" message appears on the Nikon D5600 LCD screen. Perhaps this B-3418-2 version will work. But Nikon seems to be on a mission to "break" compatibility for non-Nikon parts. If you apply firmware upgrades (which you should for lots of other good reasons), don't be surprised if non-Nikon parts start not working.
