[128 GB] This is a great way to keep using an SSD (which was an internal hard drive) as an external hard drive. The directions are much improved from the same model that I bought two months ago. It's easy to insert the SSD into the case if you keep an eye on where parts fit together.. 5 |

[ 3.5" HDD ] The LaCie 8TB d2 external hard drive is well-built and reliable. This is my 8th LaCie external hard drive and I've never had one fail. I feel confident backing up data on these hard drives. [50 TB] I have ruined a few external hard drives because of the disc inside was damaged from dropping or bumping them. I found this SSD external hard drive and ordered it for durability. I need to be able to dump my video and photo footage on the fly and carry with me everywhere I go. This external is extremely fast compared to any disc drive. It also has withheld a drop or two from me already. I say get it, and it is worth the extra money. I don't see any reason why this would ever be lower than a 4/5 star rating. 5 |
