[0.17 lb] I bought some looking just like this maybe 5 years ago when they first came out and they were great but not 100% machined perfectly, from a different brand. This two pack is not only a great deal, these things HOLD well. NO wobble at all. Machined very well for something so cheap. Hopefully hold up for a while. Huge time saver when breaking down or building cameras and monitors. I got some of the vertical types (maker is ANDYCINE) and wasn't as happy. These are flat and offer a great foundation and connection to have something so top heavy like a monitor above it.

[Aluminum] The best mechanical hard drive I had ever used.

[Magnetic] I purchased both the 10mm and 11mm Artisans and found the 11mm definitely sharper when comparing lettering at 400% on a calendar in a room shot, however at 4 inches the 10mm was amazing. Purely by accident while shooting tests with the 10mm with the Lumix S1r I focused the camera on a pad of paper I had written notes on in pencil. Along side of the pad were 8 or so new Dixon pencils with gold stamped lettering all sitting on a dining room table cluttered with computers etc. At f8 with the lens so close the background dropped beautifully, but what astounded me was the detail of the lead pencil writing on the paper the the gold leaf stamping on the pencils. Photo had Color, contrast and even a bit of micro detail in the paper texture and writing. Based on this and other tests, this is a great lens for very closeup experimental work. Colors are accurate and vibrant. Lens is seemingly well corrected for this type of work with Capture one correcting purple fringes. For room shots and sharpness stick with 11mm unless you need the extra angle.

[Zipper] I love this bag, the GRID-IT is perfect for multiple drawing pencils, sharpers, erasers and space in the compartment for a sketchbook. With a few minutes to spare, I can unzip this compartment and I have a mobile studio with everything laid out for easy visibility and access - no fishing in a dark grab bag. The main compartment has multiple pockets for flyers, papers, and personals. The only thing I would add is a zippered interior pocket for a wallet.

[Lithium-Ion] First of all, I was shocked to be able to find this online! I was expecting to have to purchase an entire battery pack for over $100. I was pleasantly surprised to find this little battery compartment door for less than $2.00.

[0.35 lb] This is exactly what I needed! I'm a nature photog (mostly wildlife) and frequently hike into areas. I move this back and forth between my daypack and overnight pack and it works well carrying my Canon R5 with everything from the little 16mm up to the 100-500. I haven't tried it with the big 500mm prime, but I suspect it wouldn't work well - not because the Strapshot couldn't handle it, but more because the weight would drag at the one side of the pack pulling things off kilter. Along those lines, the pack you use needs to be able to support the weight of the kit you're carrying. When I used a lightweight backpack with nothing in it there wasn't enough heft to support the R5 and 100-500 and it was awkward. But when I use Lowpro Fastpack 250 with a couple lenses, snacks, water, etc it carries the R5 and 100-500 fine. The same when I'm out for a couple nights in the backcountry - the big backpack full of gear handles the weight of the camera and lens fine. And it's SO much better than a strap - the set up is snug to the body and I have with it coming out. I've used it enough now that stowing and removing the camera is pretty easy and the safety strap is secure (I've given it a few sharp tugs to test) so I feel comfortable scrambling around. I'm so happy with it that I've purchased a second to use with my tripod.
