[Thermoplastic] This reel is heavy duty and built to last. I am using it for a Whirlwind 100 foot, 12 channel MINI snake. The fantail fits through the side, and I keep the snake head wrapped in a tote bag when not in use. I wish I had purchased this a year ago. It makes setup and striking a snap!

[15 x 13 x 2"] 4 channel xlr snake great for recording small drum setup in next room. Durability unknown but is built solid, the distal connector box is basically a weapon, so I am hopeful it will last some time.

[No, Molded] Over the years, Whirlwind products have proved their sustainability over and over. One of the primary reasons I chose to order the Whirlwind Medusa snake was because of the great numbering system used on the XLR ends. When changing channel patches in our main snake system, the Whirlwind ends are quick to identify which channel is which.

[Copper] I bought this Whirlwind 12 channel snake to run into my new 22 x 10 Drum room recently finished in my home studio. I have not installed it as of yet but after examining the snake and its components I feel that it will be an excellent choice for this application. It will be run thru the wall into a nearby tracking room to be patched into a 16 channel wall box that is attached to my console in the control room. All the components used are very robust and high quality. I am looking forward to many years of trouble free service. FYI I almost chose another brand which was significantly cheaper but after reading the reviews on the cheaper snake, I came to the conclusion it was a piece of junk. Your sound is only as good as your weakest link so why use high dollar microphones only to get subpar transmission thru cheap wire and shielding. Hats off to Whirlwind products.John A.

[Single Mode] I had owned a whirlwind for many years and never had a problem with it. It was a 100ft 24 channel snake and became too large for my needs. I sold it and purchased a much cheaper (not whirlwind) 25ft 12 channel snake that lasted a couple of years and then had to have 3 channels repaired over a 6 month period. I had enough of that and purchased this one and I am expecting it to be the dependable snake that I had with it's big brother for so many years.

[11.3 lb] The Mackie 1202VLZ24 12-Channel Mixer has clean preamps, and all the features needed for live sound, recording, streaming through a USB audio interface!

[Black] Used these 6 footers for center channel and one of the mains. Used a 12 foot for the other main. These cables are great! They are good and thick. Great for big watts like I have. Good for any system. You can tell by just holding them they are quality. Canare wire has a great reputation and they deserve it.

[5.0 lb / 2.3 kg] I needed a no frills 12 channel analog mixer at a fair price. The EPM 12 works perfectly and sounds great!

[Omnidirectional] Rent a 12-16 channel wireless system to a few middle and high schools every year. Typically, we run the Pyle Pro PMHMS20 headsets, but due to backorder ordered several sets of PMEMS10 this year. These work great for school plays/musicals with proper EQ and compression. The only con is the earsets do not seem to fit children with smaller heads/faces well and took some tape to hold them in a proper location. Overall, this is a great product for schools at a great price. Time will tell if these hold up as well as the PHMS20's.

[0.7 lb / 0.3 kg] Purchased this to donate to church facility. They had an old Mackie CFX12 12 channel mixer that had some channels that were not working. Also 12 channels were just not enough. This mixer takes us up to 22 channels so we don't have to keep switching cables. It has 3 Aux outputs instead of just 2 on the old one. This third Aux output was sorely needed. Setup and use were very easy. The users guide (a download from Mackie website) had adequate information and was easy to understand. Sound quality is great. It connects to and handles all the instruments and vocal mics we are using without issue. There is a USB input/output channel with is especially great if you need mixer output to use for a stream. We don't use any of the FX but I did try them out during initial testing of the mixer and it works great. The only thing I wish it had is built in Bluetooth as an input channel so we can use other various devices for audio if needed. But that is a minor thing since there are so many affordable good quality Bluetooth adapters available. Very, very happy and satisfied with this product.
