12 Pin Pc Power Supply

[1.075 lb] The Sound Devices power supply is compatible with any 12 VDC device using a 4-pin, Hirose connector. I use them with my Sound Devices 7xx recorders, but also with the Zoom F8 Field Recorder. It is much more reliable to use a latching connector than a tubular DC connector. Furthermore the cables and construction of the SD power supply are much more robust and manageable for use under field conditions.

[1.75 lb] Ok Shame on all MFG that don't provide the power supply with a new item purchase that has 4 pin XLR required. This product works as described.

[3 x 2.8 x 0.3"] My special 12v Power supply had a single EPS 8 pin, the Dual Xeon board required 2 x 8 pin - I tried dual Molex to 8 pin it smoked and damaged the Power Supply, LP4 to 8 pin didnt work, the only adapter that works is this EPS48ADAP brought them in from the UK thankfully they are now here in Australia

Powers my camera via 4 pin xlr.There were cheaper power supplies available off of @ but went w/ this Switronix one due to the brand name and the fact that it was powering such an expensive piece of equipment. Although the power supply comes in a branded Switronix box, the power supply itself is not labeled Switronix, which made me think that Switronix perhaps outsources this supply and it maybe the same ones that are on @ for 35USD. But better safe than sorry. I am happy with it.

[Independent] I'm not using this as a charger. It's an inexpensive power supply for any camera with a 4 pin XLR. I have 2 of these for use with a JVC GYHD 200.

[1] I have a server with 12 hard drives and no staggered spinup. My last power supply, even though a 850w was not booting due to power supply shutdown. After installing this one it boots with all 12 hard drives plus all the extra power heavy stuff. Seasonic is the best of the best as far as power supplies go. They only make power supplies and they know their stuff.

[AC Input] Pricey power supply for sure. But that gets you excellent build quality, a long 12 year warranty, titanium rated efficiency, and silence.

[120 dB] I used the supply to power 2 G4 style LED under counter lamps. They are 12-volt LEDs that I wired in parallel and each use 240mA so the 500mA rating of this PS was perfect.
