[0.15 lb] Holds 12 sd cards in their cases. Can gold 6 SD or CF cards without their plastic cases. 5 |

[9 x 8.05 x 5"] Nice to have a secure place to place your 12 oz morning coffee, water bottle or plastic beverage container like a Coke or a beer at the end of a long shoot day. Nothing to knock over and spill. 5 |

[0.895 lb] I fill heavy duty plastic freezer bags with 12 pounds sand and slide them into these. These are a must for weighting light stands outdoors, if there is any breeze at all. And, I use them as a safety precaution on light stands indoors. I also use them for weighting the leading edge of seamless background paper, and marking extension cords that are snaking across the studio floor. I have found them handy when trying to counterbalance a large umbrella, or a strobe on a boom arm. The bright orange color is a positive feature. People see them. 5 |

[2.515 lb] Being aware of the 12 rods and plastic shoulder pad that come standard, I bought this rig as a starting point to build out a larger rig. I added an offset riser with 6 rods and an upgraded shoulder pad for a more comfortable rig. With those simple additions, this is now one of my favorite setups for shooting video. Typical Smallrig quality and performance that keeps me returning to this brand. This is a great starting point for building a practical and affordable shoulder rig. 5 |

[2 lb] This is my second KX-800 - the first one was purchased back in '12, and the reason for replacement was that the plastic in the stalks and flash heads had gotten brittle over time and were fracturing. The major issue I have with the KX-800 is that the flash stalks are overly rigid and prone to vibration when moving. A major improvement would be to make the flash stalks of the same gooseneck material used in the center light. The only other complaint I have with the KX-800 is the lack of a battery meter. Even with the stated flaws, I'm extremely happy with the KX800. I consider it far and away the best value in macro strobes today. 5 |

[2.405 lb] Much stronger and more stable than the plastic ones. I have it holding a 12' boom pole with counterweight. I didn't trust the plastic one with a high dollar shotgun mic, out over someone head. Fiberboard insert is removable so you can use a slightly larger pole than stated. 5 |

[Autofocus] After reading quite a number of negative reviews, I decided to take the plunge after B&H sent me some Panasonic lens promotions (thank you B&H!). I figured that the initial tests were probably pre-productions samples and that Panasonic would have probably fixed it by now. The MTF Chart looks pretty good (though not the only consideration) so could it be really that bad? I was debating between this and the 12-35 f2.8 as both are weather-sealed to match my GX8. In the end, however, I decided to choose the 12-60 for its price and purpose as an everyday lens since I have some primes already. As most m43 lenses go, the 12-60 gets sharper by a stop or two. I was hoping it won't look as mushy as the sample pictures from the ephotozine review... and it didn't disappoint me. At 12mm, the edges are acceptably sharp at f5.6 and at 60mm the edges are pretty sharp at f8.0. Comparing it with my PanaLeica 25mm at f5.6 it was pretty close. The build also doesn't scream plasticky but the zoom ring could be a little smoother. However, the maximum aperture starts pretty early... by 44mm you have already reached f5.6 (18mm f3.8, 25mm f4.5, 40mm f5.4). But then again it's not advertised as a fast lens anyway. All in all it's pretty good for its price and a good addition to a weather-sealed everyday walk lens in the Lumix lineup. It all boils down on your needs: Wide + More Reach + Weather-sealed... but slow = 12-60mm f3.5-5.6 Wide + Less Reach + Weather-sealed... but faster = 12-35mm f2.8 Wide + Less Reach but cheaper = 12-32mm f3.5-5.6 5 |
