[1/4" TRS] My a/e tenor uke sounds great amplified by the Loudbox Mini. Vocals are awesome, too. But, the Bluetootn lets me use the Mini as a speaker for my recorded music and using my iPad, it’s also an amazing karaoke set up! Love this amp!!!

[Stand Base] Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug.

[Phantom Power] Used to only amplified mics used in broadcasting, I was happy that this mic utilized much less vocal power to drive than other sure dynamics. The sound was mellow and natural (used for speaking only). I am a tour guide and this is the best mic I've found for this job outside where feedback is an issue on boats standing a foot from the speaker.

[Solid-State] Audio quality is way better than the mic in the iPad mini.

[Unidirectional] I'm using this product as a PC microphone. I've attached it to the top of my 27 Widescreen LCD Monitor using the MIC-EZE M-1 (albeit with substantial difficulty). The mic itself works perfectly with my PC after being paired with an ART Tube MP Preamplifier. This mic is surprisingly quite heavy. Probably because it is a dynamic microphone and not a condenser mic. I'm not a big fan of the stand clamp it ships with as it takes a significant effort to attach/detach the mic to it. It doesn't seem to be truly unidirectional to me. When Skyping with someone they can still hear me quite well even when I move laterally away from the mic while it is attached to the top of my monitor. This was actually a pleasant surprise for me, but other potential buyers may not like this characteristic. It should be noted that I can't definitively compare this mic to others of the same type, because it is the first XLR mic I've ever purchased. Attaching this mic to my LCD monitor using the MIC-EZE M-1 was not easy, but barely doable by wedging an extra metal square bracket into the M-1. Someone REALLY needs to manufacture a microphone mount which utilizes the VESA mounting mechanism now commonly found on the backs of LCD monitors! Overall, given the high quality of the mic and the amazing price, I'd say this is definitely the microphone you want to use with your PC. You will need a pre-amp and mounting mechanism to make it work for this purpose though.

[Rubber] I bought B&H's Rode NT-USB Mini USB Microphone Kit with Broadcast Arm and Closed-Back Headphones (BH #RONTUSBMINIB) and was fairly happy with it, but wanted to reduce sound transmitted through the desk-mounted arm. It seems that most shock mounts hold the barrel of the microphone, but the Rode NT-USB mini is a rectangular block rather than a cylinder. It bolts into this mount just fine though. The reduction in sound conducted through the arm is very noticeable. I don't have experience with other shock mounts to compare to, but this works better than I expected.

[2.4 GHz, 5 GHz] I already have Google Mini's, and we had an old fashioned alarm clock that we just used for time. This replaced both of those and does better than they did individually. Not sure why, but the microphone seems to be better on this than the Mini was, and the clock is bigger and easier to see at night. The fact that it has visual queues when asking google questions, is a huge help. Right now we just have one, but i want to get another one to put on each night stand. Great little gadget, especially when you can get them on sale!
