[0.97 lb] After tolerating an old 17 monitor for far too long, I decided to try this Acer B247W bmiprzx 24 16:10 IPS Monitor from B&H, since I know that they carry good quality products. My desk is somewhat crowded, so the 16:10 size fits the space available nicely. I really like the sturdy, adjustable base and mount on this monitor, and the screen is very clear. The monitor arrived promptly, and was well packaged. This was a very good purchase!

[Yes, 2x 2 W] Finally there is something between a $10,000 critical 12G monitor and a computer monitor with an HDMI converter velcro'ed to it. No, it isn't as good as the critial OLED Sony/Boland/Flanders, but the price is perfect. Overall, an excellent monitor when you need high-quality, hassle-free SDI viewing.

[26.765 lb] Wow I didn’t think this monitor would be so good! I was looking into 2K with 240HZ because I recently upgraded my PC to the new generation parts and wanted to get the best out of it. Most of the monitors were out of my budget. I was leaning a lot towards Alienware monitors but they were also expensive and saw reviews that they would break down eventually in the long run. Decided to give this one a try and was well worth it. Smooth, crisp, bright, nice colors, and overall easy to use! Would recommend :)

[Yes, 2x 2 W] I regret not getting this sooner, even for mostly document work. The large single screen is much better than dual displays for documents, since it lets you put zoomed-in documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, and/or emails so they are adjacent (touching), side-by-side for easy workflow. I was not sure I needed a monitor with this high of a resolution on a 32 screen, but I'm really glad I followed the B&H rep's advice and went for a 2K model. Well worth the extra cost over lower resolution monitors. Even for document use--my primary application for this monitor--you need at least 2K resolution. When you zoom in on documents with 2K, the font appears sharp and readable. On lower resolution monitors, zoomed-in text tends to have a fuzzy edge to the font, that makes it harder on the eyes. This monitor is a bargain for how nice it is. The annoying negative with this unit is the placement of the hardware buttons for controlling monitor settings--on the back, so you cannot see what you are pressing, and need to work by feel. Not bad, once you get used to it. And switching among display modes is great. It optimizes the settings to suit different content, e.g., documents, videos etc. The speakers are only for the most basic sounds, like system noises or alarms. Those speakers do not sound good for video sound or music. Get external speakers for those applications. I have a tiny, tiny desk, and was surprised to find the monitor fits perfection on there. Even though I checked the dimensions and measured against my work area, until it arrived, I was doubtful it would fit. The included stand is very solid, and makes a really solid footing for this monitor.
