1624 Guitar Amplifier

[1] From time to time, I need the use the guitar input of my amplifier for a second microphone input - this gizmo enables me to do that withous issues.

[Active 2-Way] I bought a pair of these to use with a guitar amp simulator. They sound great and allow for getting the amplifier and effects tone without having to crank up the volume to concert levels.

[Download] In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine.

[Handheld] Great mic for any kind of use. Vocals sound great as well as guitar and bass amplifier. I use this mic in my home studio and live performance.

[Black] This is my second 1624 case. I got this one to store and transport all of my small lighting gear (multiple speedlights, Qflashes, batteries, chargers, cables, light meter, and many different modifiers for small flashes). My other one houses my cameras and lenses. You can't beat Pelican cases with dividers for flexible protection, storage, and transporting gear. They are virtually indestructible. This is my fourth Pelican case (including two smaller versions). I'm partial to the dividers, rather than foam inserts. They are much more durable and movable; I find the foam inserts eventually break down with years of usage, pulling out and replacing gear.

[Empty] I've used my 1624 on the job as a pro photographer for about eight years. During that time, it has served multiple photo gear purposes. The interior compartments are easily customized to accommodate and organize various shapes. I kept mine aircraft-cabled to a stock welded thwart inside the bodywork of my Ford Explorer (outside the trunk upholstery). When I considered buying a Prius, I had to measure the trunk space (with the cover drawn over), and my 1624 fit, so we had a deal. Actually, the 1624 will fit along with my Pelican 1604 and my Pelican 1514. I store my gear in a public storage unit, so this makes it very convenient to grab and go.
