16Tb Ssd External Hard Drive

[Aluminum] This SSD drive compared to all similar and regular external hard drives is extremely fast and accurate. So very pleased that I ordered another one.

[128 GB] This is a great way to keep using an SSD (which was an internal hard drive) as an external hard drive. The directions are much improved from the same model that I bought two months ago. It's easy to insert the SSD into the case if you keep an eye on where parts fit together..

[ 3.5" HDD ] The LaCie 8TB d2 external hard drive is well-built and reliable. This is my 8th LaCie external hard drive and I've never had one fail. I feel confident backing up data on these hard drives. While these are not as fast as SSD (solid state drives), they are less likely to lose data over time (SSD's will slowly discharge over time when not used and can lose data). Fast shipping by B&H.

[50 TB] I have ruined a few external hard drives because of the disc inside was damaged from dropping or bumping them. I found this SSD external hard drive and ordered it for durability. I need to be able to dump my video and photo footage on the fly and carry with me everywhere I go. This external is extremely fast compared to any disc drive. It also has withheld a drop or two from me already. I say get it, and it is worth the extra money. I don't see any reason why this would ever be lower than a 4/5 star rating.

[1x 3000 rpm Fan] I bought a 16TB hard drive to put in this. Extremely easy, basically slides right in and the cover goes back on. Very well made.

[2.57 lb] When I saw this mega 16TB hard drive listed on sale for $269.99, I had to jump on it. That's $16.87 per TB of storage! And with using B&H's Payboo credit card, I didn't have to pay a 8% state sales tax, which was a big plus and a further discount. This WD Elements drive is just as I expect - a solid performer that doesn't disappoint. On average, data transfer rate is up there at over 150mb/sec. At times it even hit 200mb+/sec. I have yet to find reliability as an issue with WD drives as I have never had a WD drive that failed on me - unlike Seagate, which I have quite a few of them lying around being used as paperweights!
